  1. @Obed O Omweno congrats! what program will you be taking part in - ANO or TNO?
  2. Thanks for the feedback! I will try to be positive, this is all just so nerve racking.
  3. I am not currently applying to any other programs, which idk may be shooting myself in the foot. But I didn't have prerequisites lined up because I didn't want to have to take more courses, and then at the same time like I also had to leave my current job in healthcare so now I am having that problem with applying soon because I don't have like a patient care role right now. I have heard like various people have different thoughts on the program, I would love to hear more if you could tell me some of her overall thoughts on pros/cons. Anyways, good to keep up with someone who is in the same boat. Everyone else seems like a 9 or higher which is frankly quite like stressful. I guess I am not really ready to accept that it won't happen this year. ?
  4. Ok same here! I thought that they were going to average the HESI score retakes, I was so sure that - that was totally going to happen seeing as they averaged retakes. Yeah I am totally bummed. I think the part that kind of frustrates me about the point system too is that they average the retakes. Basically, if I were to apply for the next cohort, I would have more points, because one of my retakes would be taken off. IDK... Did you happen to apply for anywhere else? FINGERS CROSSED!
  5. I am thinking that we should be hearing back end of the month/beginning of November. Do you know where you stand in the point system? Best of luck!
  6. @ MymichelleL I feel like there have not been too many consistencies. Oh gosh. Oh well I submitted it and it is what it is. I really wish they looked at the individual parts. I feel like I don't understand how they will choose their applicants.
  7. @ MymichelleL wait so do they not average the HESI? I just rechecked the page, and now I feel confused. Also I think that I only have 4 points for GPA, I just recalculated GPA. I really wish everything was not just a big picture view and looked at individual indicators more. Please let me know your thoughts! I am really worried now. Thanks!
  8. Hi mtnab - thanks for the best wishes. I wish you the best of luck, as well. do you know where about you stand, for the new ranking? MymichelleL - you did great on the HESI. Darn you definitely have that on me! I was contemplating retaking the HESI, but they take the average, so I don't think it would be worth it for me. I wish they would take the higher score, but nope they average everything. Best of luck!
  9. Hi! I was wondering who else was going to be applying for the MSU Denver Spring 2020 ANO, and what their point distribution looked like. I will get full points for the GPA, and 3 out of 4 on the HESI, and the point for taking classes at the university. I am worried that my HESI score is not going to be competitive enough though. Hope to hear back! And good luck to everyone else.
