  1. It's my understanding that we applied in September for a Fall 2024 start. The next application period is in Fall 2024 for a Fall 2025 start. They don't seem to be doing a Spring start this year.
  2. I applied to grossmont for the Spring with 86 points and am on the alternate list
  3. Hi guys! I applied with 84-86 points as well. Good luck everyone!
  4. Oh that is encouraging. Thank you for that info. I am also on the alternate list with 85 points I think.
  5. Thanks SSZ!! This has all been so helpful for planning! I read the wrong rubric and have 85 points. So hoping I can squeeze in!
  6. Congrats! I took my TEAS and got a 84.9 LOL so close to an 85. But thats OK. I should have 83 points this go around. I'll have my CNA license and hopefully work experience by the time City opens up and for Fall at grossmont. Good luck everyone!
  7. Hello! I am going to apply at the end of the month after I take my TEAS. So not sure how many points I will have. I am also applying for the Fall at City and probably Grossmont because I am not sure I will get in. I was accepted in Spring of 2020 with 85 points but had to drop out for a crazy covid family life and am finally ready to start this journey again. I took the TEAS 6 before and have to take the 7 now so am studying and starting a CNA class, but don't think I will be licensed by the cut off date. But just in case the stars align I am here!
  8. I used the whole ati package to study, but still didn’t do as great as I would have liked. I have no idea number of seats, but I think it’s the same as every other cohort. I thought the notification email was THE email and have been on edge ever since, wondering what “soon” means and why they would do that! Lol.
  9. We’re almost to October lol. Siiigghhhh
  10. I know of maybe two other people that have applied. I think you will be ok ? So I believe you can repeat one science course. If you had to withdraw from micro, and have not repeated anatomy or physiology, then you can go ahead and take it again. If you have already repeated A or P, then I think you have used your one time. But I would talk to the nursing dept or your counselor to see if there is any wiggle room. Good luck!
  11. Von and Aurora. I think I know who you are lol. Did you have another baby? ?we all have kids, that’s great. Go us!! Mine got in cuz we had low income, but then my husband got a promotion and we were just barely over the limit and it is VERY expensive to keep them in there. Also, I think they have to be at least 6 or 9 months to start. But I would definitely go fill out an application to get them on the waitlist.
  12. Hey! Maybe I know you! My kids used to go there too. So sad that they don’t anymore. ? last fall was their last semester and I’ve been saving to send the little one to preschool when I start the program.
  13. Oh that would be so cool! But I am taking it at cuyamaca. I needed an afternoon class and all of grossmonts seemed to start at 8. But my son is starting kindergarten this year at 830, and I wanted to be able to take him. Well at least I’m not the only one backing myself up lol.
  14. Only grossmont this time. I am taking chemistry in the fall to apply to SDSU too, but I don’t want to if I don’t have to. But at the same time, I don’t want to assume I’ll get in at grossmont and then not. It’s so nerve wrecking. Any idea when we start to find out? Like two months?
  15. TEAS finished and application turned in. Hopefully we are the only ones applying ?so we all get in. points are updated to be 82-86. Are you guys applying anywhere else too?
  16. Hello! I will be apply for Spring as well. Taking the TEAS on Wednesday, and depending on that score I will have between 82-90 points (also dependent on the extra five points) Good luck guys!
