  1. This happened to me in 2015. It was my first offense. File a complaint against yourself to the Ohio BON. They already know you have been arrested anyways and its better to tell them yourself before they come hunt you down and ask why you have not reported your arrest. I got a letter from them to complete 6 hours of substance abuse CEU's and that was that. Really the only pain in the butt for you will be when you renew your next license because you need to report whatever you get charged with (for me a was a misdemeanor physical control - it got lowered to that from a DUI) and have all the supporting documents. Keep copies of everything! I did not report it to my current job. I had to have a letter of explanation for each other job I did (I did some travel nursing the past 3 years). Keep calm, get through your case, it will all be ok!
