    Hello everyone, I am currently looking into starting nursing school in October. I live in Flordia and I know you need to pass a background check before becoming licensed. I have a misdemeanor for petit larceny over 7 years ago. It has been taken care of and I haven't been in trouble since. Will this prevent me from getting a license? All the information I can find says it goes by a case by case situation. I was wondering if anybody has a misdemeanor charge or has been through anything similar and still became a nurse or if it's not even worth trying, thank you.
