  1. I know this is an old thread, but for those that stumble upon this in the future. I have been doing quite a bit of digging. Considering this was my second attempt at the NCLEX. The first time i failed i stopped at 96 questions and didnt get the good pop up. This time i took my test july 8th and did all 205 for my pn exam. since day one until now which is my 19th day of waiting i still have the good pop up. I have already called and they said my results have already been reviewed. And still good pop up. I live in california so no quick results. Also to clarify my good pop up is the legit " you can not reserve another seat as you are already scheduled at this time" what im noticing is alot of people saying they got this but really they are negating the fact that it also said at the end of the sentence that their results are on hold. From what ive studied it seems that people are mistaking that pop up as good when usually it seems like a fail from the results others have posted. I should have my results any day now and will post to update. But if i pass im going to say that if you have the real true good pop up without the words "hold" in it. That you are like 100% pass. I really am not b.s. because I have had a lot of anxiety about this too. The only time it fails is when you are on hold. Or you got the bad pop up. The reason usually get the bad pop and pass is because their results probably werent sufficient enough on the computer grading and the human grader needed to clarify if they were within range of passing or not. The only anomaly is getting a bad pop up and pass (i would say this would be rare and for someone that did all the questions). Also dont trust the good pop up until at least 72 hours have passed as it takes this long for the second grading to be processed.
  2. Hey everyone thats been tearing the internet apart about timelines for receiving their results. Ive made this thread to shed light on my situation and the channels that ive been expending to calm the anxiety. To start I finished school back in February this year and was the first in my school to take the NCLEX -PN before graduating. I went in there cocky because i always ace my tests even the exit exams. So guess what?! I failed it the first time haha. After 96 questions it said youre a dud lol. It took 18 days with 6 of those days being weekend days to receive the fail letter. I did not use PVT the first time i tested but my counselor at the school did try it for me and she said it wasnt the good pop up. So it tooks some time but i got back up on the horse and took my test again here on July 8th. Ive been patiently awaiting and scrubbing through all the articles and info i could find regarding timelines chances of passing etc. I have done the PVT on my first second third and everyday after the test and I always have the good pop up still. I finally got the gumption to call the BVNPT. So i have heard horror stories so far about the board. But calling the BVNPT here on Monday 1030am july 22. I have to be honest the gentleman that answered was very kind and helped me out. He said they have the date for when my Authorization to test was sent out. And all my stuff looks perfect. Of course he wouldnt say if i passed but said its been two weeks so one or two weeks more i should have my pass/fail letter. But he kept saying everything looks good so idk if that was a hint that i passed. I also wanted to double check to see if the letter was already sent out because if i have a time frame and it was sent out recently then i know i failed. As i have heard that fail letters get sent sooner. And this was information retrieved from the BVNPT themselves. So he said no there is no date entry for the letter being sent (yay!) I just wanted to share my experience and will keep this thread updated daily. I am in Los Angeles, California just for reference.
