  1. And yet here you are...killing it!
  2. Sure, you can find me on FB, should be pretty straightforward search (I don't think I can post links here), just shoot me a message.
  3. Hey Bufflegends, I am currently a VA student here in the 2021 cohort. I don't really know any official word, but I can say that we haven't heard anything different and that we (the students) are expecting you to come in June. Congratulations and good luck! This is a great program! Bryan
  4. Nice!! Congrats!
  5. Sounds good! I was hoping someone would do that!
  6. I agree! This was my second year applying with Usagpan. Keep pushing!
  7. I'm in as well! For the VA though, not active duty! I did my time! Can't wait to meet you all in June!
  8. I'm sure you all got the email just now from Mrs. Johns as well. Looks like as early as today or as late as Friday! Good luck everyone!
  9. I second this! Thank you for all the info!
  10. Good luck guys!
  11. Well, a new week of waiting has arrived, but hopefully based on the work MikeyD did for us, everyone will have answers this week. Good luck to all of you and hope to see you in San Antonio in June!
  12. I know the VA budgets for this program a year out, so the for selections this year are already budgeted for, I would think the army does the same... But who knows I was a VA applicant, but last year I was not told why I was not selected.
  13. Looks like it. Thanks for getting that info!!
  14. Now that's a positive way of looking at it!!
  15. Now that's just cruel???
  16. I agree, I think it's just a formality. Baylor screened our packets prior to forwarding to the VA. Still, it'd be nice to have that last step done! But I want you guys to find out too!
  17. It's kind of crazy. We (VA) did ours the opposite, our boards were done and selections made, just waiting on baylor now.
  18. I hope so too. I've been waiting just for confirmation from baylor... Not sure what is taking them this long.
  19. IDK... I am thinking next week
  20. The program will start in June of next year. It seems like forever away right now. I think time will drag until about March, then it will speed by as I will be trying to get everything wrapped up in preparation for moving.
  21. I vote for today so the agony of waiting can be over for you guys!!
  22. Thank you! The application process usually opens in January, if you do a Google search for USAGPAN and VA you can find the link to the information page. If you have trouble locating it, include Roberta Reedy's name, that should narrow it down. Once you start the application, everything is done through the application portal on Baylor's website. It is actually a very simple process. You have to include your official transcripts, your CV/resume, etc...the normal stuff. Make sure you have your GRE done in plenty of time and submitted to Baylor. The mistake I made the first year I applied was that I didn't include personal information about myself in my essay. The instructions for the essay are to answer the question why you want to be a CRNA, and my initial essay was just that. I was told later that I needed to include more personal info because that was the only way the people looking at my application could know anything about me.
  23. ?? I know your pain!! I am pulling for you guys! Thank you, and believe me I know what you mean.
  24. Mine was from the VA. In the email it was stated there would be a final review on the baylor side, but if I understood correctly baylor screens all the VA apps before they get forwarded to the VA for their selection process so it seems the finalization is just a formality. Yes it is definitely an excruciating wait. I feel for you guys!!
