Hi, and sorry to jump onto an old thread, but I am joining this year's cohort as an LPN and had a couple questions. How much does the schedule change from quarter to quarter? What is a typical schedule for Clinicals and do they usually keep to certain days? I will be working 24 hours a week (2 12-hr shifts) and my management is very supportive of me going back to school. Any other concerns or scheduling things I should consider? Thank you in advance! Dani

You are so kind, thank you so much! That definitely makes me feel so much better. The site says they accept around 45, so 74 is a lot more opportunity than I imagined! I work 2-3 12-hour shifts a week, so I’m hoping this program will allow me to keep working, at least until the last quarter. Thanks again and congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

I think you should still go for it you never know what the competition looks like. I read somewhere that scores in the upper 70s/low 80s were accepted! I inquired about why it provided RN study material and was assured it was the correct material to study for the test. It is confusing because it says to study NCLEX-PN materials, but really it’s RN. It’s not much different than the PN but some of the delegation questions assume you are the RN delegating to an LPN. Otherwise, use those questions!

Thank you! I just hope they are high enough! I just used the provided question banks from the Kaplan website. After you register, log in and go to Access Resources and then click where it says you can create your own quizzes. I just created 10 question quizzes and studied the rationales. Thank you, and good luck! Oh, and it was a mix, but yes, a lot of those types of questions. I had zero calculations and one pharmacology question. Otherwise, priority, delegation, and nursing rules/laws.

Hi all! I know this is an old thread, but I just completed my entrance exams and was wondering how you come up with the total score for the tests? I got 89.3% on my TEAS and 80% on my Kaplan. Do I add the number of questions correct, or add the percentages? Thanks for any help!
