  1. I started Fall of 2019. Honestly, I had C's in A & P 1 and 2 lectures, but good grades otherwise. I do not remember my exact points. I took the optional Pharmacology class I think it is and got an A in that. My highest TEAS score was 70. They try to make it sound super competitive, but I got in with those results, so there's that.
  2. Hi, all! I will be graduating from Chatt Tech's LPN Program July 31st! I plan on applying to the RN Bridge Program. I had signed up to retake the TEAS prior to the pandemic. ATI reached out, stating that it will be administered online, just awaiting a rescheduled date. I am not sure if the test will be waived for the admission process. Good luck to you all! You can do it! It is a bumpy and fast ride, though ?
  3. Has anyone else in this group ordered their books from the Elsevier link? I received 4 books, but I still have not received the Sim Chart. I am assuming it just comes separately in the mail, but it has been a little while now, and I am started to get concerned. See you all at orientation tomorrow! Super excited! :)
  4. Hi, all! I wanted to introduce myself and join in on the conversation. I am a single mom of 3 children and have dreamed of becoming a nurse for a long time, but took some major detours lol. I applied to the RN and LPN programs at Chatt Tech. I got rejected from both, but then last week, I got a call that someone declined their seat in the LPN program, and I now have a seat! I am so excited to begin this journey. I was in Nursing school briefly years ago at Chamberlain, but it was way too expensive and I have to pay out-of-pocket because I already have a Bachelor's degree and used the HOPE scholarship. It was also accelerated due to me having a degree, and I just couldn't do it at the time. I literally had to quit my job to be able to take the optional Pharmacology pre-requisite for the LPN program (because it was only offered in the middle of the day on Mondays and my boss wouldn't work with me since I am the only Medical Assistant). Anyways, I became a float and have gained so much experience since January of this year. I just wanted to share a piece of my story to hopefully give hope to you all. I am not a super religious person, but I have to say that some Higher Power must be looking out for me and my babies. Maybe we can get out of my mother and step-father's house at some point before they are teenagers (which isn't that far away ?). My ultimate goal is to get my BSN, then become a Midwife. I have a long way to go, but could literally not be anymore excited to at least get my foot in the Nursing field! I was wondering if anyone plans on working throughout this program (some nights/weekends)? My mom is opposed to it and wants me to study and spend time with my kids when I am not in class/clinicals, but MONEY! I am looking for a transfer with my job, but have not had luck yet and I am kind of freaking out (Medical insurance/again, money). ? I apologize for the long post, but I hope I gave at least 1 person a good read and some hope and faith!
