What should I do while I'm waiting on the nursing program?
Hey guys! I need some advice Here's my plan: I'm retaking my MATH 1111 and ENGL 1100 this Fall at VCC and if things go according to plan my GPA should get boosted to 3.42 or even better, 3.48. On October, I will reapply at Langara for the Fall 2020 semester and hopefully submit a new transcript in January. After talking it through with my parents, I decided to apply at KPU's Health Care Assistant program that's starting on Spring 2020. I think the program lasts for 6 months. I want to study something else while I'm waitlisted at Langara's BSN program (which I'm pretty sure I will be waitlisted at least because I heard the Fall semester is harder to get into). Reapply for Spring 2021 if I don't get accepted off the waitlist and while I'm waiting on that I would hopefully be working at a hospital as HCA for like 6 months. Do you think I will be wasting my time and money? Should I just wait for BSN program and not enter the HCA program? My dad has advised me to keep my options open just in case this nursing plan doesn't work out so I'm very confused..

Applying to BCIT’s BSN with no degree?
Hi! I’m well aware that getting into BCIT’s BSN program is difficult if you don’t have a prior degree or work experience in the health field. But I heard that a few people with no degree or work experience were able to get in. Does anyone here know how high your GPA would have to be to be considered? Or do you at least need some volunteer experience?
