Failing a nursing class
@Ashley_SF I have to repeat the course to pass the program. I am just asking whether anyone got onto a competitive NP school with a fail in nursing school?

Failing a nursing class
That means if anyone fails even one nursing class, she can get into only for- private schools not any state school. That sums up my situation.?. I have everything in my CV. Good GPA, never ever a failure before, more than 5 years of family physician experience from abroad, etc.

@umbdude It makes sense. Definitely, I will go for A in that class. Have you ever heard about anyone who failed a class in ABSN and still accepted into NP school?

Offcourse I would apply every where but at this even Chamberlain is looking a distant spot for me.

Well, Thank you so much for replies. Yes, this time I would be more conscious of course. My question is with a WF on transcript and GPA 3.55 in BSN, what are my chances to get into any NP school? By the way, I am not talking of state schools or IVY league. I am talking about average schools like Chamberlain etc

Yes according to or college policy, if we retake, the GPA will be counted with the latest grades. But WF will remain on transcript

Failing a nursing class
Hi guys, I failed in one of the nursing classes in my last semester of an accelerated BSN program. I plan to apply for NP school after my graduation. Currently, I am having a GPA little bit over 3.5 which, I hope, will be maintained after I am done with the program. What do you think how much a failure in BSN will impact my chances for NP school? I am in a state of shock at this time tbh. Serious opinions needed please
