  1. I’m not sure that the requirements make it so your prepared. From my point of view (having finished the PN course) it’s all about your effort level and keeping on top of your workload. If you don’t go to clinical like you should or study relatively hard for pharm, health assessment or any of the harder courses within the PN course your doomed to fail or be one of those 60s riders who barely pass every semester.
  2. I think the only reason it was designed was to eliminate perfectly acceptable candidates due to the numbers game of southern Ontario colleges. Hear me out for a second, if you look at the CPRNE results for most northern Ontario colleges they are similar to southern Ontario results. That to me is the defining factor, if the CPRNE results are on par with southern Ontario colleges I don’t see an argument, unless you can’t possible move which is mostly likely because of family support.
  3. Everyone on here going crazy about the HOAE, they only required bare minimum 65 percent on my highschool marks at the northern Ontario college I attended( no test required to apply). It also was a great education at a cheaper price. Housing is also at a cheaper price. Just remember my licence is the same as anyone else’s. School is a school is a school.
  4. I don’t quite follow what your saying, they don’t tel you what your score is if you pass only if your fail. Do you mean the person was in the upper 60s and still failed so the presumed pass is 70?
  5. Just go to a northern Ontario college no test required, they prepared me extremely well for the CPRNE and I passed on the 16th of July 2019. My high school marks sucked too like all 60s lol.
  6. No they don’t tell you a score through the CNO if you passed.
  7. What do yo mean by 78? 78 percent or questions? And if it’s questions what the total
  8. Same book in both pictures just one of front and back. If you google CPRNE yard stick practice exam you’ll find the site that provides it at a cost of 50 dollars. If you take that test it will tell you your strengths and weakness, this will allow you to use your practice guide better. The Mosbys book it self also has 600 practice questions and 2 practice exams when you use an electronic code provided in the book. I believe the yard stick practice exam is put on through the same place that administers the CPNRE in my area of Ontario called “Pearson view”.
  9. I would suggest this guide if you are writing in Canada (see attached image) and the practice exam pearson view has makes a good starting point with this guide, pay attention to areas of weakness and strength when you do the practice exam through Pearson view (if you live in Ontario). Also remember this guide recommends 60 and above on every set of practice questions and practice tests within the book. If you aren't scoring atleast 60 percent step back and reevaluate your studying. This guide is on Amazon.ca for 80 dollars.
  10. I’d expect the classic 4-6 weeks answer when you call but worth a shot.
  11. Did you hear anything yet?
  12. I’m not sure I wrote on the 29th and got my results a couple hours ago.
  13. Personally the only regret I have is thinking these results would be faster because I paid BIG money for them.
  14. I wrote the 29th and called yesterday and got the classic 4-6 weeks answer only. No results yet.
