  1. Cool, so I feel like I’ve waited long enough (three years) and I checked my license status once more and it’s still in review. it’s been 72 hours and today’s a holiday so I bought the early results. I need to make a change with the Job I have, it’s literally hell and I have a full weeks worth of paid vacation saved. So I’m making a move for the short term and going to think about my options. So it says I passed! Honestly this is great. Would pay 7.95 again. Ive been under a serious amount of personal stress and other things for the past few months, an I’ve worked HARD for the past year on a LOT of things for me, so I deserve to find out my results for sure. I kept thinking about wearing my graduation pin when I finally took the exam and passed. Who knows I might just do that tomorrow. Funny I work with a grad from three years ago. I’ll be sure to swing by her floor and casually talk about the test if she’s working (maybe with my nursing pin on ? ). She’s been keeping up on me about it. Anyway studying was hard with all the other actual life stuff going on this time around, i was fortunate to only have a part time job living at home when I was in school, and I commend a lot of people who do it and make it work in more complicated circumstances. I was a straight A-er and 100%-er in school til I slacked in third and fourth term (ego), finished strong. I was more nervous than usual this time around, I had people who had faith in me and like some I felt had more confidence than I did. But at least I can say I PASSED IT ON THE FIRST TRY. Haha two and a half years no studying, 6 months learning back little by little, test was 30 questions past minimum cutoff and was behind on pace when I was cutoff. Ok chow for now
  2. Took my PN NCLEX two days ago at 2pm and decided to read up on how to get results sooner and if possible without paying the 8-10$ on early results. Read about the “Pearson Vue Trick” where you attempt to re-register for another attempt at the NCLEX and see if they’ll attempt to accept your payment for the registration. Well they didn’t attempt it, I got the “good pop up” saying I was already registered. So if it turns out I did pass the exam, it will give an extra statistic to the theory. If not, it will give an extra statistic to the theory. Anyway, there’s actually a little backstory to this, I graduated three years and three weeks(ish) ago from my test date. Yep took me this long to actually get around to taking it for the first time. I was top student in my class for the small program, but things like that don’t always make a complete story. Anyway. Ill update when I know officially. I’m excited.
