Hi, wanted to start this for the Palomar Health New Grad residency-2023. I'm and internal applicant and got an email to set up an interview for 7E and 4E. I don't think I'm going to take since I got an offer from Sharp. I am curious about what Palomar is paying their new grads though.... Good luck everyone ?

I had a verbal offer from grossmont ED on 12/2 and then had a follow up email on 12/8, Im assuming maybe I'll get a written offer this week ?

Hi! I’m in cohort 4 we start our first clinicals next week and we go once a week to a clinical site this term. The past few terms we have been on campus 3 days a week. The days depend on which group you are in. Because of Covid each cohort was additionally split into 3 groups. But that will probably be going away with Covid restrictions lessening. There is a facebook page you can join too if you have more questions. I believe it’s Brandman Univeristy ABSN. And yes the school was bought and now it’s UMASS Global.

I would think so? Im not sure if this is how they notified candidates in the past though!

Hi! I’m probably starting WCU in the fall too. What facebook page did you join? Are you commuting to school or do you live close?

Any commuters go to WCU? I’m in the application process and live in San Marcos. Just wondering if commuting wasn’t too bad, I’m planning on the Orange County campus. Thanks!

@KyleMG Yeah I just checked in with my friend that's applying too and they did the same thing to her. Am I crazy to think this unacceptable for us not to know about this sooner?

@619nurse Did you take them in north county SD? Or somewhere in California?

Just a warning to all the waitlisted people, to check in with your advisor as to what you can do to improve your chances of being accepted! I emailed mine and he said that I haven't taken any of my sciences... I took all mine at Palomar... I then asked him that this must have been a mistake and he said that I would need to email all of my science syllabi to be considered for completion of Anat, Phys, Micro, and Chem. This is the first time I was EVER made aware that my sciences weren't being counted toward my score to being accepted. Who knows if I was made aware of this 6 months ago when I applied the first time maybe I would have been admitted. Something very disorganized happening here.....
