  1. @smohan1 yes, I got the email confirmation from her this past Saturday.
  2. Have you done an FDLE background check before? I really think this is the common denominator regarding the timeline for official acceptance.
  3. @Lovinm the exact same thing happened to me! I sent all 3 of my transcripts on the same day, and one of them took over 2 weeks to be received! Even though it was sent from the same company as one of my other transcripts. That's so strange, I wonder what the reason could be?
  4. Thank you, @Lovinm! I'm sure you'll hear back soon, especially now that the application deadline for the program has passed. I think it takes so long because of the background check, but I definitely get what you're saying about financial aid. I submitted my FAFSA tonight as soon as I got home from work. Has your admissions application to FAU been approved already? My admissions app was approved today, a few hours before I received the email that I'd been officially admitted.
  5. Yeah, I just got it today! I'm also about halfway done with the clinical requirements.
  6. I submitted my background check order mid-June, and completed both finger printing and my drug test the first week of July. I've done two FDLE fingerprinting background checks before this for employment, so I'm not sure if this decreased my wait time or not. Hope this helps!
  7. I just got an email from Lacey confirming this as well, I'm so relieved ? Thank you!
  8. For those of you who have preliminary admission, have you completed your clinical requirements yet? I'm waiting on results for antibody titers for Varicella, but in my CastleBranch account it says this is due today!
  9. We should be, since it's 9-11 credit hours per semester we'll meet the half time requirement.
  10. I asked this during my interview! The program is actually completely self-sustaining, they're funding it exclusively with tuition.
  11. Good to know, thank you! I'm scheduled for a class on 7/11 so I'm going to go ahead and take it early anyway. One less thing to worry about later on.
  12. I'm planning to work full time and use as much of my income to pay tuition as possible. Whatever I'm not able to cover I'll pay using federal student loans.
  13. Have you all completed the BLS for Healthcare providers certification yet? If so, where did you do your training?
