Got an interview invite about 2 weeks ago for the Jan 12. Has anyone gotten that follow up email that they said they were sending out?

Currently, looking into CRNA programs and have an interview coming up. My thought process has always been doing a pros/cons list. Things like cost/location/school is what I factored into what schools I applied to. Hope this helps ?

Yes this is true, but the only reason why I only applied to this particular school is because they are willing to take my lack of experience.

Hi, I am currently a CVICU RN with 10 months of ICU experience, 1 year of high acuity cardiac Stepdown experience that applied to CRNA school at Augusta University. My Stats are the following: GPA: 3.78 Cumulative, 3.52 Science CCRN, BLS, ACLS, PALS 10 Months CVICU (ECMO/Mechanical Circulatory Support/Transplants/High Acuity Cardiac Surgery), 1 year of High Acuity CCU Stepdown and floated to CCU. Other Jobs: Volunteer RN at Free Standing Clinic for those underinsured (700 hrs), Covid Vaccinator/Tester (1 year), Restaurant Manager (5 years) Do you think I have a chance at getting in to CRNA school or at least get an interview?

Yeah kind of figured, I overheard one of the advisors say that the TEAS is just a tie breaker but what really matters is the GPA. Haha hopefully I can make it. Otherwise, I’m going to pick up a minor in microbiology or something.

My nerves are starting to get to me haha. May I ask what pre-reqs were you missing the first time you applied, because I am going to be done with the 12 required pre-reqs but I’m still working on some university pre-reqs like history and art. Thank you for the comforting words tho lol.

I asked and they said it should be either the start of September or the middle of September. And don’t sweat it, they accept a variety of students based on gpa range.

Yeah same here, Insecure about my TEAS. But I’m done with all my 12 preqs after fall semester. Only have Chem 1152 left. Idk lol I’ve gotten As on all my A&P and Micro classes so hopefully that’ll give me a competitive edge. My advisor also told me that minorities get a advantage lol. Good luck!
