I got the call from Azusa that I got in!

I called again and they said they haven’t made decisions and that we might hear back in the next week or two. Why does it seem like they keep pushing it back? It’s kind of getting frustrating.

I kinda figured that too. I didn't qualify for a CALgrant when I applied to CSUs in the past. Does anyone know if APU (like other schools) provide us with federal loans too? Also, how long do private loans give out the money when approved? Considering that we have roughly about a month till the semester starts lol. **Update** I spoke to Emily and she said we would hear back around this week and probably next week through mail. I asked if they're gonna make phone calls and she said we probably will but definitely through mail. Also she mentioned decisions haven't been made as of now.

Yeah, I heard they do that for those with pending prerequisites/classes. Other than that I'm assuming those with complete science and required classes would be admitted.

Hey @Ttrin1997, you mentioned you apply for spring but got placed into Fall. I was wondering did you had any prerequisites needed to satisfy at the time you submitted your app? My theory is they put students that still have in-progress courses in the following semester, then the ones that have already finished their prerequisites and met the general courses are prioritized (with consideration to their GPA and other factors too ofc).

Hello all, I just called the office and they received an update saying that we will be getting a call/email of our acceptance/denial decision by the end of next week! My anxiety just skyrocketed through the roof!! ? So anxious to know already since a couple of my friends already got accepted into their program!

We're in July now ya'll!! Only a couple more weeks! ? Did you guys receive an email about your application being complete? I only got one from when I turned in my application which was "received."

I was curious, how are you guys gonna pay for tuition (& housing for those moving to victorville like myself lol). Like I don't know if FAFSA is gonna give me a lot but do you think taking out loans should do?

I just called today and the lady said we should hear something back in 2 weeks! I also asked to verify about the interviews and she said they are not implementing interviews anymore.

My prereq GPA is a 3.4 with an overall GPA of 3.5. I went through a CNA program in high school and did some volunteering during my prereqs.

Has anyone heard any updates yet?

You're right! There's houses around the area to rent too if we decide to room with a few girls. From previous forums, they usually hear back late June and by July 15. I'm just so anxious waiting that's why it feels like forever.

Also how long did you hear back that you were accepted?

Hi trin! If I get accepted for Fall, I was thinking of rooming with someone too. I found an apartment that’s around 1k with two bedrooms that’s close to the school.

Are you looking to move there? I was thinking if I get accepted I would prefer to rent with a roommate to cut down cost ?

Yes, that's what she told me. She also added we would be notified via phone call or mail!

Guys! I just emailed (EDIT), our new program representative and she stated that the School of Nursing is not implementing interviews any longer.
