  1. Yeah, nothing yet. Every time my email pins with it's special tone I have set for it, I get a little excited only to see it's from blackboard.
  2. Not yet but I haven’t checked the mail in a few days.
  3. I’m late to the party here but there is a lot of information that I’ve slowly been going over all week. My printer won’t like me much this term but I can see why it was opened a week ahead of time.
  4. Good point! My hubby is telling me to stop worrying so much but I’m a stress ball when it feels like I’m batting in the dark! Guess if 37.22 isn’t enough this time, next time that 42.22 should be ;). Just wish we would know before October.
  5. That’s an awesome deal! I’m almost worried that if I went a head and got the teal ones I would be getting my hopes up. All this talk about points (I believe I have a 37.20) has me worried! So for skills I went with black scrubs to match my shoes.
  6. Thanks for the information!
  7. That would be awesome! Does anyone have any recommendations for scrubs and shoes?
  8. For the skills class, I went with Cypress because it's the closest to the house but for campus rank (hopefully) will be RRC, EVC, CEC. A lot of it comes down to traffic since I'm in Leander.
  9. I actually went through the publisher for the book, it was cheaper than anywhere I could find it and free shipping at the time I ordered it.
  10. Sweet! I was able to register as well, picked Cypress on Fridays at 830 as well, close to home.
  11. I'm right there with you with a 37, working along with mom/wife life added the crazy ride of taking these classes as quickly as possible. A&P2, Mirco and Pharm all at once really made me question my sanity on days.
  12. The waiting game is hard, makes you overthink the process and add on to the confusing method that's in place. At least that has been me since May. Still holding out hope that today we will get news but expecting it tomorrow or Friday at five p.m.
  13. I did the same thing! But yeah everyone gets one if you qualified because they want you to take the class but no real decision on if you get in until October.
  14. At some point, this week emails are supposed to go out for the skills class but no set day this week. Longest. Week. Ever.
  15. A friend told me they like to send things out at the end of the day as well so there is still hope for news today. Fingers are crossed for tomorrow!
  16. Actually, this week flew by and I think it’s only because there was a dated posted and it wasn’t a mess of refreshing the black hole of a page with no updates! But that being said, feel like tomorrow and Monday will drag on and on.
  17. Oh that’s good to know that they will contact you if anything is missing or have questions. I swear my hubby is stick me going...what if this is missing or what if I did it wrong and there is no way of knowing. Almost feel like anyone who is able to get their apps in before the original date most likely is fine, it would be after that would be pushing it a bit.
  18. Anxious as well, worried that if my math is right about possible 37 whatever it was and if it’s good enough. I had a nightmare that google ate half the application so it wasn’t complete the other night. Fingers are just crossed for next week.
  19. The advisor I talked to last fall warned me about waiting too long to apply, saying the sooner you apply the better because there has been cases of not enough spots open in the skills class. :( The process is a bit confusing, at least they have updated the application status page for Spring 2020. Fingers crossed for July 15th to get here soon!
  20. Nope, but from past threads, it seems like the first emails for petitions might go out the first week of July but who knows if it holds up to this year.
  21. Sigh. I was hoping that even know they extended they would at least give us a timetable of when new info would go out.
  22. So I use this SITE to quickly put in all my classes and grades then just plug the rest in. If you have taken the co reqs you add that into the Nursing GPA then plug in the # of courses all together you took, the HESI Points and the review points (which should be 6 if it's your first time applying) At least that's what I did!
  23. I feel ya. I'm sitting at a 37.22 I think is what it was when I double checked what my calculation was the other day. So my fingers are crossed as we sit and wait.
  24. With a 41 you should be pretty solid. I do wish they would update the application status to give us more information then what's on there now.
  25. Fingers crossed that the petitions for the skills class go out sooner rather than later. I've looked back at other threads for past application periods and it's been a bit all over the place. From what I remember the advisor told me that normally 200 people apply and 160 get in but that was a year ago. Still, the waiting game makes me a stress ball of worry.
