  1. Hello all! I just graduated from a BSN program in December and got my license in late Jan. I've been applying to jobs through usajobs to work with the IHS and a public health position is my absolute dream honestly. I've heard back about a few IHS med/surg jobs, but haven't heard from the public/community health positions I applied to at the same time. Trying not to be super nervous about it all but it's a struggle LOL. I sent a general email to the hiring contact for a specific one I really want but haven't heard anything in about a week. When should I start to get nervous and is there anything else I can do to reiterate my interest? Thanks!!
  2. Got my acceptance letter yesterday as well! Sent in the Intent to Enroll form immediately. Excited to meet everyone at the Welcome Meeting!
  3. Just submitted my application!! Good luck to everyone! My advancement score is 1.94 from a 4.0 GPA and 94% TEAS score. I have a Master's degree in Astronomy so I'm super used to taking entrance exams lol.
  4. I'll check again! Thanks for the info! I'm feeling fine about the TEAS. I had to take the GRE for my graduate program so the english/math etc should be similar if not slightly easier. The only new info is the anatomy/bio which will be super fresh in my head bc I'm currently in it! Does anyone know if they're super strict on the CPR w/ AHA or can we do the Healthcare provider training through Red Cross instead?
  5. I'm applying this year as well! I just got an MS degree from ASU but decided on a career change. A little overloaded atm because I am taking A&P 1, HCR220 (already finished though), and CHM this summer term. Next summer term I'll be taking A&P 2, NTR241, and Microbio. All at a maricopa cc. I'm leaving development and pathophysiology pre-reqs for the fall term. Was accepted to ASU as a comm health major and I signed up for the TEAS test at ASU in late July. There weren't any August dates available online?? Do you think they're being added later, or are they all filled? I def would move my test date back if I could...
