Never any classes on the weekends. For the clinicals, none in the summer semester. It's possible for the fall or spring semester; it depends. In the fall semester you will have 6 med-surg rotations, 4 OB rotations, and 2 psych rotations. In the spring you will have 4 med-surg and then your preceptorship.

Hi Roseglory! In the summer it's pretty much Monday to Thursday 830 to around 430pm. Clinical in the summer is a 12 hr shift at Clear Lake on Tuesdays. In the fall its Mon/Wed 9 to 11ish and different days for clinical. In the Spring its on campus Mon/Wed 9 to noon & then after spring break you are doing your preceptorship and everything else is online. There were other LVNs in the program with me that kept working while in the program so I know it's possible!

I just wanted to put this out there to anyone who is searching information about the Texas BON and NCLEX. I passed the NCLEX-RN with 78 questions and 36 of those were select all that apply. My heart dropped into my stomach when I saw question 76 pop up but it stopped at 78! I walked out of the testing facility certain that I failed. It felt awful. I did not try the PVT because I was too scared to find out right then if I passed/failed. I was previously a LVN and passed my LVN/LPN NCLEX the first time with minimum of 65 questions. I was so much more confident leaving the testing center then. I received my LVN from Alvin Community College and went to their transition program LVN to ADN. I took the Hurst 3 day review before taking the NCLEX-RN and also the NCSBN Review for the NCLEX-RN. The TEXAS BON updates their website (to see if you have received your license) every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 am. I took my test Tuesday at 1pm and the board had my license posted Thursday morning (I didn't even have to get the quick results for $8).
