Don’t think they ever went through them to begin with, honestly. I’d estimate there are less than 30 in the review process.

I have on good authority the director of nursing at JU resigned. Everything is a major cluster ***** right now. There’s no estimated admissions release date now. This sucks

You either get a “pass” which does nothing for your gpa or for your application multiple (so not recommended) or a B which isn’t bad but it’s 1101 so it’s not hard. If you have the time take the class and get an A. Definitely better than clep.

Same, I actually had to go orientation for a different nursing program in the area this morning...just because I still haven’t heard from JU. I’m starting to get a little frustrated.

After Friday’s email I thought we would for sure hear something today. I haven’t though...have any of you?

Just got an email from admissions saying to expect results “this evening or early Next week”

That’s ridiculous if it’s true. the other schools In the area have already sent out results and one of them has orientation next week and we still don’t even know if we are in here yet.

All they replied with was “We do not know an exact date. It will be early November”

They are calling alternates and offering spots this morning. Make sure you are by your phone if you were an alternate.

I called a couple times Friday and left a voicemail as well as a lengthy email on Friday and called twice today and haven’t gotten ahold of anyone. It’s a little frustrating; however, I imagine they’re getting flooded with emails and calls.

Me too thats why I am a little confused and think they may not have updated my math grade from falls application because I did have a 134.5 for fall but it absolutely should have increased by at least 1 pt due to an A from this summer vs C (from 2011 mind you) I maxed out the hesi so there isn't really a point in me retaking it. Ive also heard all alternates have been getting in the past couple semesters but I don't want to be an alternate if I earned straight forward acceptance. I have called and emailed already. I am sure they are just out of the office because it's friday. I just wanted to let everyone here know to recheck EVERYTHING if you were close.

I received an "alternate acceptance" just now but I believe they miscalculated my scores or went with my fall application scores. (I took a higher level math over the summer and received an A so my score should have improved to a 135.47) so I would double check they calculated your scores correctly since you are VERY close.

Hello All! I’m hopping in this forum now too. FWIW I commented on the fall 2019 forum saying the cutoff was 143.5 IT WAS A TYPO and the cut off for fall was, in fact, 134.5 sorry if I freaked anyone out! I missed fall by less than a point due to a math class from 2011 with a “C” -__- but I got an A in statistics class the summer that’s suppose to take the place of that. So fingers crossed it brings me over the hump. Side note, anyone here also apply to JU?

I just got a denial letter everyone. Saying the current cut off is 134.5. That may go up but doubt it. Good luck all.

At 150 you have nothing to worry about. Also, they said mid to late June for letters.
