Going to NP school
That is a significant difference. Thank you so much for your advice! Makes alot of sense. Our pmhnp at out facility is making around that, but I just figured she just got lucky.. lol...But, I am pretty decided on what to do now! Thanks!

Going to NP school
Never thought about furthering my career, so never really looked into it. Just heard of other NP's talk about it. Thanks for the advice, It helps other people's opinions.

Going to NP school
I work in a correctional setting, been there several years now. So, I'm very much aware of the mh population. It's very sad. Just wondering if any pmhnp had problems getting jobs.

Going to NP school
That's great advice. I search various job websites for jobs to see what's available. But I will definitely look at health and human services. It's just hard to choose something you really like, especially when you like both.

Going to NP school
That's what worries me. Really want to do PMHNP but I dont have to many connections. FNP is appealing because it's not so restricting as the other one.

Going to NP school
I've worked in mental health for 10yrs. I love it. It's not about the money, Im not concerned about that. My question is the job market. Wondering if any PMHNP or FNP struggled to get a job? Any recommendations on schools? Which field is more in demand. And I love both fields. Thanks!

Going to NP school
So, I have decided to go back and get my NP. Im very nervous that Im not going to maintain my high B in the program but Im going for it! I am not sure which field is more in demand or which one I would be able to get a job quicker. I am in between FNP and PMHNP. Any suggestions on a program and field? Thanks!! Im in the Dallas area.
