I was told end of July beginning of August. This was by financial aid guy.

Has anyone been fully admitted yet? They keep saying that they are waiting for my fingerprints and background check to be sent to them. I completed this weeks ago ( when they first asked us to do them). MyCB has had them as complete weeks ago. I don't understand what the hold up is. I'm only concerned about being fully admitted so I can start working on financial aid situation.

I have finished all clinical requirements except flu shot. We don't start clinicals until January so I think you are fine as long as it's done by end of this year. ?

They have it. Somewhere in the paperwork they gave us it specifically says no need to send if you are FAU alumni. Only for all other colleges.

I went to American Heart Association website and picked closest location. It was called CPR care spot on Pine Island Rd and SR 84.

Has anyone figured out how they are paying for the program? I noticed that we missed the deadline for scholarships from FAU by a few weeks and other scholarships clearly state that they are not for 2nd Bach's. I completed my FAFSA but I heard there is no help for 2nd Bach's there either.

No. I did not. And I finished everything (except the flu shot, which we can't get yet and TB, which I did but they haven't accepted as of yet). I finished the non-clinical items a week ago and haven't heard back.

Yes. I have. But I use to be a student at FAU many years ago. The email worked for me even though I think it wasn't suppose to. I already completed everything. It takes a lot of work. And $$$. Background check is $167 which includes drug test and then you have to pay $50 for fingerprints.

They contact you pretty quickly. The interview took a while to schedule and it took 3 weeks to find out if we were accepted or not. I am also missing sociology and have decided just to CLEP it. It's $87 at FAU testing center. There are apps you can download to study questions and a free online prep class called Modern States that you can sign up for and watch videos and read a textbook and take practice tests. Then you should be ready to take it. It's better than being in a class. And sociology is pretty common sense stuff. It's one of the easier CLEPS that they have. They told me I have to have the CLEP completed before the beginning of class in order to start in August so you need to act fast if you plan on starting in fall. Hope this helps! Good luck!

They said they would be letting us know next week I believe. It will be 3 weeks since my interview next week on Wednesday. She said they had a few interviews in beginning of June to get through and then the first decisions would be made.

I have. Just had my interview today. It was 6 questions. They said 10 minutes total but I took way longer than that which I feel like that was a bad thing. It was 2 interviewers (but that could change). They didn't ask any of the usual beginning questions like "tell us about yourself" or "why do you want to be a nurse." Ugh...3 weeks to find out if we get accepted. They will also be doing interviews in June which I guess means we are the first round of possibilities and also that there may be a lot of applications.
