  1. I am currently a 2nd year pre-nursing student and I feel as if I no longer want to continue on with this major. I feel as if I am forcing myself to enjoy every aspect of this journey when I don't. Sometimes I feel like I was only going strong or felt motivated to proceed with this major b/c I didn't want to disappoint others. I enjoy learning and my grades are great, but toward my 2nd year, 2nd semester, I no longer felt motivated to do my absolute best and I started thinking about other majors. I don't want to upset my mother or disappoint others by changing my major (especially my mother, she always calls me "lazy" or "assumes I give up easy", if she hears that I want to change major) I don't feel lazy ,but I just no longer have that motivation. Is this just me feeling burned out or should I completely come to a halt and reconsider?
