Hi all! I'm an RN working as a circulator in the operating room. Recently management asked me to serve as the Magnet Champion for our perioperative services department and I accepted. That role involves heading up a performance improvement project for our unit. I'm really struggling to think of something just out of the blue as I don't really see any glaring issues with our OR that we can do a project with measureable outcomes on (like I can't do staffing because that isn't something that I can implement or control). If anyone has anything that they can think of, just some ideas that you may have in your head. I don't want you all to think that I'm being lazy and wanting the project idea done for me-- I've just been racking my brain and am looking for maybe a spark. Any help would be appreciated!
