  1. I’ll just edit my email out after you guys email me. It’s [email protected]
  2. Yes! Congrats! And definitely. Is there anyway to exchange our info without leaving it public? Thank you! I have a 4.0 GPA and got a 96% on the HESI. Best of luck to you!
  3. I just got the call from my admissions advisor. I was accepted into the program! I’m so happy!
  4. That would be great! I’ll know if I got in by the end of next week. Would you mind sending it to me so I have it if I do need some info/advice?
  5. I’ll be sure to look into that too! I have a quick question regarding your bio classes. Did you take anatomy and physiology separately? I know some schools combine anatomy and physiology into one class taken over 2 semesters. My anatomy and physiology classes were separate and each was 1 semester long, lab included.
  6. I know, it’s so expensive, but I’m tired of waiting on the lottery system. The only thing that would make me consider waiting to get into another program is if they don’t accept my science courses and want me to retake them. But I’m going to do my best to make sure that doesn’t happen!
  7. Thank you so much for the information and for checking my college in comparison to yours! I really appreciate it.? It made me feel better.
  8. I took my science classes at College of the Sequoia’s. I’ve been trying to contact my advisor but I haven’t been able to get a hold of her. How do you check with the registrar? I sent in all my official transcripts with my application so I’m assuming they’ve gone over everything.
  9. Nope! I took them all, including Chemistry, about 2 years ago.
  10. I got a 96% on the HESI and have a 4.0 GPA with 2 AS degrees. I believe from what I’ve heard that your mission statement really boosts your chances of getting into Chamberlain. But I’m second guessing if I want to go through them to get my BSN. I managed to figure out how to see which transfer credits they were accepting from me and they didn’t accept any of my biology courses so I’d have to retake all of those again which is a major setback.? I think your experience will give you a major advantage! Good luck to you too! Hopefully we’ll get good news next week!
  11. Is anyone waiting for the board to meet on January 18th for the May 2021 start date? I’m super nervous and it seems like time is moving so slowly!?
  12. I’m sure they’re still going to accept students. They wouldn’t be going through the trouble of going through applications and qualifying students otherwise.
  13. I got an email that my application status had changed today. I’m qualified. Does anyone have any other information regarding when acceptance emails will be sent out? I’m thinking about applying to chamberlain as well. I was in Delta’s program last semester and dropped for several reasons but I don’t want to wait any longer and it’s difficult with the lottery system.
  14. Hey guys, do any of you know when/how we are receiving our black polo shirts?
  15. Yes it’s so long! I hate it! I want the other top that was supposed to be an option. I’m going to email sunshine and ask her about it.
  16. Has anyone else received their scrubs? I got mine yesterday and the top is ridiculously long/big on me. But I only had one option to choose from which was the zippered women’s top. I wanted the one without the zipper but it wasn’t an option. Is anyone else having the same problem?
  17. It’s mandatory so everyone will be there. You have to bring the two signed documents in our student information packet. I don’t remember their names. I already dropped mine off.
  18. @jr90 yes, lab reports were required for MMR, Hep B, and Varicella. But don’t worry about the deadline. Call Sunshine and let her know what’s going on and she’ll update your status to in progress.
  19. @CountMeIn209 I really hope you get in! What number are you? I feel bad that you’ve been waiting to hear back this entire time. It was stressful enough just waiting until the end of May. I can imagine how you must feel. Stay strong!
  20. @Lady2020 it was $25 for the rest of us too and castlebranch accepted it! So no worries.
  21. @Lady2020 we can always carpool.? @nvrse31 sorry, that was a little confusing and made it appear like the clinical site was awful. Which it isn’t. It’s just the commute that was horrible. She was in EG too so she had to get a hotel sometimes because the drive was just too far. Otherwise, she would have to be up at 4am every morning to get ready and be there on time.
  22. @jr90 thank you! Congrats to you too! It’s such a relief to have this all completed. It was such an ordeal. And yeah, that was my biggest fear. Manteca would have been an awful commute. My sister-in-law went through Delta’s nursing program several years ago and she got Manteca. She said it was awful.
  23. I completed everything on Castlebranch and I couldn't be happier! And I got the clinical site I was wanting. Who else chose Lodi? I live in Elk Grove so its perfect. Way less of a commute than the other hospitals.
  24. @julw when I spoke to Sunshine, she told me to upload what I already have to show my documents are at least in progress. So, if you miss the deadline, you would be okay if you show that your tests are progressing. If this was the case, I would call and let her know just so she’s aware. @Yaswei you have to hand deliver them to the health science office.
  25. @julw okay, I talked to Sunshine and she said you have to have a two-step TB test regardless of when you had your last TB test. I’m pretty sure it has to be within 3 months of the program starting. So I’m going back tomorrow for my second since I already had one last week. She told me she didn’t have a chance to update the student information packet before she sent it out to everyone. And I’m Jenna! I’m looking forward to meeting you and everyone else as well.? July 22nd couldn’t come fast enough!
