LPN-RN, LPN, or BSN? How should I do this?
I have couple questions, questions that you'd probably ask a guidance counselor in high school, but I am not in high school so I come to all of you. I currently live in Colorado and am moving to California either in a couple months or in a year. I am Licensed Medical Aesthetician in Colorado, where I am aloud to perform such things such as laser procedures, micro needling, dermaplaning, etc. I have been planning on go to nursing school either way so that I could further my career in the medical field of being a aesthetician. However, most of everything that I perform in my current practice only RNs can perform in California. So this leaves me at a weird cross roads in how to approach school. On that I have a couple options and question, I would like to get my RN as soon as possible. All opinions, answers, or other options are welcome Option 1: I stay in Colorado for one more year and complete my LPN/LVN and then move to California and hopefully find a LVN-ADN program. Then after my ADN I would complete my BSN. As mentioned I would like to get my RN as soon as possible so that I can continue to practice as an aesthetician as I would in Colorado. Option 2: Move to CA in a couple months and enroll in a 3 year BSN program. Option 3: Is there another option other than the two I have thought of? I want to be able to complete my RN sooner than later but I am having a difficult time finding LVN-ADN programs in Southern California (Orange County). I have run across a few '30 credit option' LVN-ADN but I don't quite understand what this is. All together my end goal is to obtain my BSN. I don't know what the best course of action is to take in this situation. Does anyone know any good LVN-ADN programs in Orange County or surrounding areas? Is there a nursing school directory? What is 30 unit LVN-ADN program? Could doing the LVN-ADN program make it more difficult to get into a RN-BSN program or in to a BSN-MSN program down the road? Please help me I need help. I am so lost.

Does anyone know of any schools that offer a 3 year BSN program.
Ha. I know I will be but I won’t have to be massaging them.

Does anyone know of any schools that offer a 3 year BSN program.
I am searching for a 3 year BSN program that requires no prereqs. (And before you say there are no programs like that, yes there are.) The schools that I have found that offer programs such as these are... Herzing UniversityChamberlain CollegeWest Coast UniversityPlatt CollegeMarian UniversityChamberlain UniversityCollege of Saint Mary'sGalen College of NursingDoes anyone know of any others. I am currently in Colorado but am open to schools anywhere, I am ready to make a move. Any help would be appreciated greatly. Just for a little background why I am looking as a 3 year bsn program is because I was as smart as a sharp spoon and wasted my 20s doing a whole lot of trying to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up and a whole lot of not figuring it out, which lead me to not going to a proper college and getting my Bachelors in anything. Now in my 30's I have finally found what I want to do and feel don't have and anymore time to waste. So spending 5+ years getting my bachelors (including prereqs), maybe even longer with wait lists just isn't in the cards for me. Now, now, don't scoff at me I have multiple certification, including my Director License to run a daycare (I liked teaching but didn't have a passion for it), license in cosmetology (I hate dying hair, so not for me), licensed as a medical esthetician (which I absolutely love) and my CNA when I was 18, which lapsed a long time ago. When I was in esthetician school I could not get over how fascinated I was when we started to learn about human anatomy and the different systems that all work with skin. I want to get my BSN so I can stop working at a spa and messaging old rich ladies faces and actually make a difference with working with people such as burn victims, people with cancer, ect. to help them with their skin. May sound lame to some but we all have a niche of the area we want to work in and this is mine.
