  1. Congrats to everyone who got in!! I just wanted to share my own experience as someone who was not accepted. Earlier this year I did my UBC med interview. In order to get an interview, UBC scores you out of 100, 50 for your gpa and 50 for "non-academics." Similar to nursing, when you get an interview, you are not told your score but it's easy enough to calculate your academic score. Judging by my gpa, it's safe to say that I was in the top 40% for non-academics. My supplemental score for nursing was a 4 (bottom 25%!!) I was truly shocked by my low score especially since I was ranked so highly for medicine. Just goes to show how different programs value different experiences!!
  2. For the people who are accepted in August, are they aware that they're on some sort of waitlist or do they just not hear back until then? Seems so late and I feel like most people would have settled on other options by this tome.
  3. I recently heard back from McGill and their application was due later than UBC! Getting very excited/nervous...
