Oh boy I’m not going to lie you just made me more nervous — I can’t find anything that great to help me study all of that... the dosage calculations make me nervous too and once things are put into word problems I’m lost. Math overall is my weakest point. From what I know, they determine acceptance based on gpa, Kaplan scores, and how many of the prereqs you have finished. All of that combined so if u have more pre reqs done and or a higher gpa than other students you may still have an upper hand than those who got high test scores but don’t have as high of a gpa or as much done. Don’t quote me on any of this but from speaking to people through past blogs and that have been accepted that’s what I’ve gathered.

Looking at past blogs a lot of them said to aim for high 70s and considered that to be a grade that got them in.. I know they look at other things too, but personally I think that’s a great score from speaking to other people in the past. i found this break down from a past blog too.. do u think this was pretty accurate breakdown of the exam for this year too? Cuz it’s kind of what I’m going by.. It was virtually ALL physiology. No chem, anatomy, bio, etc. * Make sure you study a lot of the respiratory system (gas exchange, how air enters body, etc), cardiovascular system (blood flow through vessels, heart, etc), Nervous system (autonomic, parasympathetic, etc), and Endocrine system, feedback loops. Most (if not all) questions came from these four systems. Also, there were some questions about the digestive system. Math: * Decimals, fractions, percentages, ratios, and a few dosage questions. * Make sure you have those first four mastered. Almost all of the questions were on those four types of problems. * There were problems where you had to add fractions, add decimals, convert decimals to fractions or percentages, etc. * You can't bring your own calculator but there's a calculator on the PC screen you can use. Writing: * You have to read quite a bit for this section so keep mindful of the time. You get about 4-5 passages to read and each one has a few questions asking about different rules of English, etc. * Make sure you know subject-verb rules, rules on using apostrophes, commas, colons/semi-colons, and clauses. Also, make sure you know when to use its vs it's, lets vs let's, etc.

@Jbeans1215Thanks for the info! Congrats!! 77 is not bad at all! I’ve known people that have gotten in with a lower score than that.. high 60’s even so don’t stress! For the math I’m mostly worried about the word problems for some reason they always stump me! Did u get an email from anyone on this thread sharing the study guides and tips and info before u took the test? I’m hoping someone will be able to forward that to me! I’ll update with how I end up doing after this weekend!
