  1. I just got this email as well, and when I logged in it asks for my final transcripts. I will not be sending them anyways as I have already accepted my top choice but I'm not sure if they will send out more acceptances before receiving your final grades, I feel like they will regardless but it's just a reminder? IDK
  2. Hey, I'm an internal applicant for UofT so I accepted it on join before cancelling Nippissing on OUAC but if you are an external applicant then you can cancel your offer for Nippissing on OUAC and then accept UofT on OUAC I believe.
  3. Thank you! I cancelled the other one just in case ?
  4. Hey guys, I have decided to accept UofT, so I will be declining my Nippissing offer opening up another space for those who are on the waitlist! ?
  5. I know this has been asked before but I can't find the reponse, as an internal UofT applicant how do you accept the offer? I logged into Join and pressed I ACCEPT and it said it will take a week for it to update. Also, I currently have accepted another offer on OUAC do I need to cancel that one for UofT's to go through?
  6. Aww thank you! Crossing my fingers you get in!
  7. My GPA for my last 5.0 credits is 3.85 but to give those of you waiting some hope, I struggled a lot in my first 2 years of undergrad and my cGPA is on the lower side it's a 3.36!! JoinID!! I haven't gotten any emails yet
  8. Thank you! I'm not sure if I'm going to accept yet debating between this and SPP ?but what is the group chat for UofT called?
  9. Hey guys I also received my acceptance to UofT today! I'm in my last year of my undergrad, my final grades haven't been processed yet
  10. Ahhhh UofT hasn't sent any more acceptances since the first day??? I'm going nuts over here ?
  11. I've also been looking into CNA programs in the U.S., it sucks we don't have them here! I just had a question about your friends who are NPs, how much experience did they need before they could apply to UofT for the NP program?
  12. I also want to become an NP, I emailed Baiba Zarins and she said this program does allow you to become a NP! I'm also confused on whether I should just do an MN straight after my RN program or if I should wait and do the 2 year experience and then pursue becoming an NP
  13. Thank you so much for this response, I wish you well on your journey into nursing ?
  14. I haven't got in yet but I'm thinking ahead because what else is there to do but overthink in these times ? CONGRATS on your acceptance! I also share the same concerns and also I don't want to be writing so many papers and doing that many exams when I think I'd benefit more from learning more hands-on. At the same time, I do learn better when I have structure and the SPP programs leaves a lot of the learning textbook stuff up to you which might be overwhelming sometimes. I'm going to wait till I hear back from UofT but if I do I'll for sure make a pros and cons list!
  15. Hey, I saw that you got into UofT in the other forum congratulations!! I am assuming that you are rejecting the SPP program and choosing UofT instead, may I ask what has made you choose UofT over the SPP program?
  16. I applied to trent after 2 years of uni because I knew I wanted to switch into nursing and I had the prerequisites, however a lot of accelerated nursing program prefer students who are in 4th year or done their degrees so they didn't accept me after 2nd year. However in third year I applied to trent again and uoft, I got into trent but not uoft but I decided to finish my undergrad. Now I'm in my fourth year and so far got into all my choices but I'm still waiting on uoft. So uoft really only accepts 4th year students from what I heard or those done their degrees but Trent did accept me in 3rd year after rejecting me in 2nd year. Hope that helps!
  17. I'm not sure what you mean by nursing showing an alternate final offer, if you are unsure I would call them and ask for clarification. As for your other acceptances you can always accept Lakehead and then change it if you get accepted into Trent later!
  18. Yes unfortunately it means they gave you an alternative offer, this happened to me when I applied to trent when I was in second year. They didn't offer me admission to the nursing program that year!
  19. CONGRATULATIONS THAT'S AMAZING!!! and oop I guess I was wrong about the timing LOL!!
  20. Not yet, I have a feeling they won't send out acceptances till next week!
  21. I applied last year as a third year student. I was told uoft doesn't really accept 3rd year students but I had the GPA and the prerequisites. I got rejected on June 11th. I can't remember if my status changed but I did recieve an email!
  22. I just got an offer from Trent! I think they're sending them out on a daily basis
  23. I ran to check the mail when I saw this LOL! I got my package today as well. For those with conditional offers mine says you need to complete current courses and prerequisites and send in the final transcript!
