unfortunately no, I think they said if you don't hear back by orientation or the first day of classes they invite you to apply again

I was on the alternate list last year! So basically they'll let you know (latest is by orientation in August) if a spot opens up. Unfortunately they won't tell you have many waitlist spots there are or what ranking you have. I wish you the best of luck!

@sunnyjo I interviewed last week. They try to make you as comfortable as possible and make it a relaxed environment. They’re just trying to get to know you!

@samg1 last year they started taking 65. They have 15 spots reserved for "Nursing Scholars" who have high SAT scores in high school. They basically get to skip the whole application process

Wow that's insane. That's almost double the amount of applications as last year. I have my interview tomorrow so I will ask and confirm!

@chanuts thank you! though my science gpa definitely should be higher. There's always room for improvement. I hope you get the email! I know people with 4.0's that have not gotten in, and people with 3.0's that did get in in the past.

@chanuts cum 3.74, science 3.2. also currently taking course to become certified as an EMT. This is my second time applying, I was put on the alternate list last year!

Yes, they are probably just going off the fact that in the past, interviews were in February! we would have known in this forum if somebody had gotten an interview invitation. Last year, there were 650 applicants and 140 of them got interviews. There’s a lot of us that will get it

@Rosella22 in the past, now is around the time that people have been emailed about interviews. But it’s for certain that no emails have been sent out yet. I know there is a new dean of the SON this year, so maybe that has something to do it?
