  1. Hi, all. To provide a bit of context: I am a new grad nurse. I started a job at a facility and QUICKLY realized it was not for me for a multitude of reasons. After working at this facility for 4 weeks, I resigned from my position. I was still in my orientation period and did not do a 2 week notice. I did not want to waste further resources on attempting to orient me when i knew I would not be staying. I have received a letter from my job that according to policy, I need to do an exit interview and they would be sending me one in the mail. I received this letter a week ago but have yet to receive the exit interview. My my question is: Is it mandatory to do exit interviews? Can my license become jeopardized for not following an HR policy such as this when I leave? I apologize for questions that are probably silly, but this was my first job and I would like to hear from more experienced nurses in regards to this. Thank you you all so much.
