  1. Hi Everyone, I applied to the critical care residency at Mayo in florida. I went through 2 rounds of interviews and was told they had a few more interviews to do and would be getting back to me within the next couple weeks. Has anyone heard back from them recently? I have another offer for a position where I currently work right now but if Mayo doesn’t speed up the process and give me an answer im afraid I will end up missing out the opportunity I have with my current job because they are waiting on my answer to finalize the hiring process.
  2. She must have been misinformed, Gateway’s uniform is completely blue. Pants and top are the same color. Since its just the pants you still have the option to go back and return it for the right color!
  3. They only gave us one option of color (dark blue) and a white lab coat.
  4. I haven’t had the chance to pick them up yet but a few days after I registered i received an email from the bookstore saying the “package” was ready for pick up. They don’t call you or anything.
  5. I registered and it came out to $2500 and some change
  6. I believe 23-29 is the Hippa answers.
  7. All she gives you in the meeting is the papers for answering the HIPPA and CHA on a bubble sheet and also the background check directions. she also answers any question you may have and advises you on what classes to take but everything else will be given on the june orientation she said.
  8. The cost depends on how many credits you have already. I believe the nursing classes itself total to 38 credits. At gateway each credit hour is about $160 + fees. If you still need to take other non nursing classes you’re looking at the cost to be a little more but depending on how many credits you take each semester the cost per credit hour is lower than $160. You should get a feel for the cost once you attend the scheduled meeting with mary beth. I believe shes going to advise us on what classes to take and stuff
  9. i feel the same way ! after 2 years i finally got in. i was ready to give up if i didnt get in this year ?
  10. Yes! Congrats!! do you know if there is any FB group for our class yet?
  11. I was also accepted into the Gateway program !!! Happy for all of us
  12. They just sent the emails out
  13. I just got a call from the admissions council from the St. Vincents program at Sacred heart and I was accepted into their program ! Im waiting to hear back from gateway and UB as well now. Good luck everyone!! and dont give up ! it took me two years in a row to get in.
  14. Yes, they offer an accelerated program that starts in the fall. However, if you have all your gen education completed you can go in as a transfer student which is the same amount of time as the accelerated program and it starts in the summer. The program is part of Sacred heart university now and it's less expensive than it was before. I have my interview with them tomorrow for admission, Hopefully, we get into one of these programs!
  15. Gateway, UB and I'm sending in my application for st. vincents at SHU too
