  1. So I got my scores back last week and got a 4.5 on my essay. I do not think I am a good writer so the essay was my biggest concern. What "I" did to prepare was watch a few random videos about the 5 paragraph essays, and reviewed thesis statements again to make sure I could write one. Other than that I do not actually think I answered the prompt very well, but I think I had a very hook and conclusion (It was kind of like a comedy special where they tell a joke at the front and then it is tied into the very last joke) Told a vague story at front and then in conclusion the great reveal the story was about me.
  2. haha actually with my gpa and TEAS I would only need like a 2.7 or something to meet the minimum score if my calculation are correct. Soooo I'll wait to give essay advice until I know if what I did worked.
  3. I just sent in a request for my scores, so when I know that I can better let you know. That being said, I know I had a 90 on the TEAS and my gpa should have been a 4.0 As you can tell by the overall scores nursing is just becoming very competitive in California. The scores go up every year, which just means that there is very little room for error. Also, if you are consistently getting 4/5 on the essay I would suggest placing your focus on the TEAS for the next go around. There is also the rumor that the essay is being phased out. Waiting to see what my essay score was because I feel I am not a good writer and I only had enough time just correct a few of my typos and did not real proof reading. Best of Luck
  4. Congrats! I got in as well... Thank god. I'm fairly sure my wife would have killed me if I did not.
