  1. waited a long time after my interview (3+ weeks! excruciating) but just got word that i have been accepted to pmhnp. for admitted students, do you have any info about admitted students days or anything like that? i haven't yet received all the 'official' communications/etc.
  2. Did you have an interview?
  3. hi guys! thanks so much for the helpful tips and info. had my phone interview yesterday and it was a very positive experience. as others have said, very friendly in nature and open-ended - a couple questions about why I want to be a psych NP, then an overview of the program in general, and some conversation/questions flowed naturally from there. was helpful to prepare for the usual questions (why nursing/NP, why NEU, "tell me about yourself", strengths/weaknesses, etc) just to feel confident and ready, but it wasn't that intense. now I'm just waiting to hear back!
  4. hi all! i just got offered a phone interview for PMHNP. for people who have interviewed - can you share about your experience? any tips? would love your perspective on what was helpful to think about and prepare for before your interview! thanks!!!
  5. Has anyone heard anything further? Getting antsy.
  6. No, I don't think so. A close friend is starting the masters portion now and during the ABSN portion he was only at main campus.
  7. hi all, I applied for psych mental health track in early November. Haven't heard anything back at all so far -- looks like they are going by specialty I hope? Has anyone who applied for PMH track heard anything?
  8. Just got a form letter (without the date filled in... it legit says "April X, 2019") that reads, in part, So, at least there is an answer! I don't know about any of you, but the failures to communicate have been straight-up embarrassing on the part of NEU - right through to this email. The offer to "be considered" for their Charlotte NC program is... laughable. Hope some of the rest of you guys got good news today or landed on a program that is hopefully less disorganized!
  9. Applied to PMHNP as well, haven't heard anything at all since I reached out in late January and was told decisions would go out in "March and April." When did you last hear from them?
  10. Seems like a lot of folks (including some for PNP?) have had interviewed/been offered spots, and then a lot more folks have heard 0 since submitting their app - including me (applied for PMHNP). I can only assume they are waiting to get all the spots confirmed filled before sending out last-ditch offers as needed off the waitlist (? only heard of a few ppl being officially offered waitlist status), and then going to send out the blanket rejection letters. I gotta echo what others have said about this being disorganized - feel like they should at least give us a courtesy of a definitive no, especially considering I can only assume those of us who didn't even get interviews are not going to get offers?
  11. congrats! just wondering, did you have an interview?
