  1. Wow! That's super awesome. Congrats, even though I don't know you, I'm really happy for you as I definitely understand the anticipation of waiting. What was your time stamp? And I'm assuming you were accepted into the traditional program?
  2. Will you be using those textbooks for an entire year or only one semester/block? Do you have to buy the bundle from them, or can you shop around for used textbooks?
  3. Two long years. I'm excited for you!
  4. So remind me again- when was your timestamp?
  5. I think you're right- that CEP makes the most sense for the vast majority of people, and I would definitely encourage it. I'm one of those weird odd ball cases where I am an older student, I already have a graduate degree and getting the AA is a backup as a second career/ side gig in the event the economy crashes. Nursing provides job stability in an uncertain economic climate. There's a possibility that once I finish nursing school that I will never work as a nurse...sometimes truth is stranger than fiction. But yes, CEP makes good sense for the vast majority of people. And if you're able to do it without loans, then that's even better.
  6. Fantastic! Thank you very much. I'm sure I'll have questions. And I'm definitely rooting for you?
  7. Great, thanks for the update. My timestamp is around January 16, 2018, so this gives me hope that I will start in January 2020. Now I am motivated to get through Biology 205 this summer and Anatomy and Physiology part 2 in the fall. When I start in January 2020, I will only have nursing classes to complete for the associates, God-willing.
  8. Thanks so much for posting the schedule. This is really helpful. What do the abbreviation stand for? EBP and Alts/Sem. And why is "Hesi" on your schedule?
  9. CEP doesn't interest me due to cost. I'd rather get the Associates and pay for a BSN while employed as a nurse if I feel so inclined.
  10. So sorry to learn about your situation. Did you apply at Gateway CC or a different location?
  11. My stamp is 1/18/18. Gateway CC evening program was my first choice. Has anyone with a similar date stamp been accepted to any type of traditional evening program? What are the class schedules generally like if you're only taking the nursing courses? Is it class everyday and on Saturday and Sunday? Thanks in advance for any responses.
