  1. @ThroughFaith are you in the eline program? If so is the polo really required or is that for on campus students? Also do we need to have an ID badge? I appreciate you in advance ?

  3. ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️ I was told by my advisor mid to late October but that was before you heard this week! Hopefully Friday! ?
  4. I think we have different sections in Path but I sent you a message on BB in our Pharm class with my number!! ?
  5. I sure hope its next week I cant focus on life lol. Path and pharm are brutal as hell. I'm currently surviving but we will see after test 2 in a week or so! Who do you have for your teachers? I have Dr. Addison for Path and Melissa Miller for pharm! I just keep telling myself that I have to pass no matter what and that if I get in to the program these are not going to be the only classes we learn this information.
  6. Ohhh okay that makes way more sense because when Johanna called me back she said it was left off of the application and I guess they just now realized it. Super bummer that they forgot that portion and are just now sending it to us with a deadline of 10/04 because now its going to be even longer I think before we find out. ?‍♀️
  7. It looked like this and it was about 7 or 8 questions. Two of them were "List 3 goals you have for yourself right now" and "List 3 things your are proud of for accomplishing". One said " 50% of students who go to a university don't graduate, if this happened to you what would be the most likely cause," and listed multiple choice answers. The rest were just strongly agree- strongly disagree questions. I called the school and they said it was a legitimate email not spam. The deadline to fill it out is Oct 4th.
  8. Did anyone else receive the supplemental questions email to complete your application? @ThroughFaith did you ever receive one of these?
  9. You're the best!! Thank you!! Fingers crossed we find out soon!!
  10. @ThroughFaith Hey Girl!! When you got your letter through email what did it look like? I know its supposed to come through our nursing cas email but im not sure what to be looking for!
  11. @Brittzeewright When did you hear that?! That would make life wayyyyyyyyyyyyy easier if we found out next week! @bjensen4 CONGRATULATIONS!! So happy for you!! You are going to rock it girl!! I am just so ready to find out regardless of the decision.
  12. Hello Everyone!! We are nearing the end of September and the anxiety is slowly creeping in faster. Pharm and Path have kept me so busy I haven't had time to realize how far into September we really are! Has anyone heard anything on the decision letters?
  13. Hello! @ThroughFaith ? Only 22 for eline??? Well that gave me even more anxiety about the wait! October cant get here fast enough!! Super happy for you though girl congrats!! Did they say anything about clinical placements at orientation? I live in North Texas and my adviser said that most of the time they can put you in your area but certain circumstances happen that we would have to go to Corpus Christi. Also for patho and pharm where did you buy your books? I noticed on the tamucc bookstore website they are about 40.00 more than if you go straight to elsevier.
  14. You will get in! Gotta think positive! Also the next application cycle is right around the corner if absolutely necessary. We can do this! Haha
  15. @Brittzeewright You are a trooper for taking all three of those at the same time. You and me both! I have never had to wait 11 weeks before normally its 6-8 weeks. For Spring 2019 entry they found out October 19th. If they keep it around the same time as last year we should hear something on the 18th ?. 1 week down 10 to go! Thankfully we are in classes while we wait so hopefully that helps.
  16. That's good to hear! Out of all the colleges I have ever dealt with they are the slowest at processing anything and everything lol. The testing center I was at had noise cancelling headphones that saved me because it was very repetitive and after a while my eyes started to cross thinking "didnt I just do this question???". Oh boy well atleast the school and evolve is aware! Were they able to get it figured out in time for the deadline?
  17. I wouldnt be worried at all girl! You have 4 out of the 5 competitive criteria so I think you will be fine!! Have you registered for NURS 3342 and NURS 4322 yet?
  18. Are they letting you use your pharm and patho from UTA? I had a friend apply last semester who took it at a different school and they told her that it had to be taken at TAMUCC. Thank you for the tip! I ordered my books early so I would have time to look through them to know what to expect before classes start. I just hate that we have to take the classes through till the midterm and if we dont get in drop them.
  19. Thank you! I was pretty nervous going in! No I am registered to start them in the fall! Have you taken them yet? I am in the Fort Worth area.
  20. When I emailed my advisor she said that normally they get about 100 applicants to the non military eline program and they accept between 25-30. She said it really just depends on space availability and competitiveness of the applicants. She also said since my science GPA and general GPA weren't top of the spectrum that I would have to make higher on the HESI than the "competitive applicant scores". HESI: 85.14 READING: 86.0 CRITICAL THINKING: 950 GENERAL GPA: 3.32 SCIENCE GPA: 3.1
  21. I would definitely call them if you haven't heard anything because they didn't send my acceptance letter to my email for applytexas they sent it to my Islander email which I had to call and get as well. Oh perfect! I am taking both NURS 3342 and 4322 in the Fall as well! I just took my Hesi last Sunday and it was wayyyyyyyyyy easier than the TEAS I thought. The TEAS was much more in depth than the HESI and the Critical Thinking portion is very basic common sense. Just follow your instinct on that part and you will do fine!
  22. Hey! When did you submit your application to the school? I would personally start your nursingcas application now because it is very time consuming if you haven't previously submitted an application through them and the deadline is 07/31/2019 for Spring start. Have you finished all of your prerequisites and the Hesi A2 w/ Critical Thinking? They state that you can continue to take classes up until the start of the program in January but they all have to be completed by the start date. My advisor said that they get about 100 applications and choose 25- 30 depending on the availability of the semester and acceptance/ denial letters should go out mid to late October. I looked on the previous semester forums and they received notifications about 11 weeks from the deadline.
  23. Hello Everyone! It may be a little late but I haven't seen anyone start a forum for the Spring 2020 eline program and the deadline is right around the corner so I figured I would start one! Anyone else applying for the program? Any traditional or accelerated? Best of luck to you all!
  24. Mine said the exact same thing. 2018 fall applicants had 3 people get acceptance letters in June. So hopefully, fingers crossed, there might still be hope!
  25. I didnt get in the time, pushing for next year!! Congratulations to all of yall who were accepted!
