  1. I just wanted to confirm that the trick still works as of now 3/2019 lol I took and failed the 1st time and got the bad pop up saying “my card was declined”. Super bummed!! Well I just retook the NCLEX and got the good pop up this time saying “our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam another registration can’t be made at this time” and I just check the board of nursing here in Colorado and my license was posted the next day! So I can confirm that it still works. You do have to go all there way through the registeration process and even go through like your going to pay to retake it and submit it. Everyone says to use the same card that you actually used to pay originally and to just change the expiration date (so it doesn’t take the money out if you don’t have it then and there or if you really did pass it didn’t accidentally charge you) but I didn’t I just used a gift card that didn’t have enough money on to pay and I did that for both the pass and the failed time (which were all different cards). I thought I’d just make a comment because I know the stress of waiting and failing. Good luck to all the future nurses!
