@NurseforJesus24 It will not be up to castle branch, but your Board of Nursing. Castle branch is a middle man to set up FBI background check screening and they have no impact on what shows up on your record. For my stuff, the board did look into my background, but I did not have to submit a declaratory order. I have 1 expunged (the board can't see) and 1 order of non disclosure (the board still had full access to all of the information for this charge). My order of non disclosure: I absolutely expected and was prepared to be put through the wringer for, but was not. I received my letter of clearance 2 weeks after they told me my file was going to review. Another girl in my class had a theft from not even that long ago that she did not have expunged or an order of non disclosure, and the board approved her also. She and I are from the worst state in the country when it comes to the BON, so don't stress. It's going to be OK. IF the board does contact you asking for information, consult with attorney that specifically handles BON cases so that they can tell you exactly what to say to the BON. Never, ever speak to the BON without representation under any circumstance.
