Hi there! I’m starting a new job in a local inpatient psychiatric center and have been assigned to the dual diagnosis unit. Can someone tell me a little bit about what to expect with that? Ive searches through all the pages and haven’t seen much specifically regarding dual diagnosis. I’ve never worked with addicts or detox patients, nor have I ever worked in a dedicated psych facility. Feeling like a bundle of nerves lately just waiting to start! I’ll be working night shift 7p-7a if that makes any difference in what I’ll see day to day.
