  1. Hi, everyone. Please help me out. This fall is my last semester in nursing school (yay!) And I currently have 2 jobs at two different hospitals. At Hospital A, I'm a covid screener (taking temps, asking questions, etc.) At Hospital B, I'm a student nurse extern. For my last semester, I have 6 classes total. At most, I can only work 1 day a week this fall. Here's my dilemma. I have to leave one of these jobs once school starts. There's no way I can do both with 6 classes. At Hospital A, I'm just a screener tech, but Hospital A is where I want to work after I graduate. I've tried applying for an externship here too, but it's very competitive. At Hospital B, I'm a student nurse extern and is gaining alot of experience, but it's not where I want to work after graduation. It's a far drive from where I live. (About 40 mins away) What do I do? Do I give up the experience or do I give up the hospital I actually want to work at? I don't know what to do. What would you do? Thank you in advance.
  2. Hi everyone, So my CNA license expires in Feb 2020 and I start the RN program in Jan 2020. I'm not currently working as a CNA, but am thinking of going back to work as one. Will I still need to renew my license if I will be in the RN program anyways. I know that RN students can work as a CNA after a semester or so, but would I still need to renew it if I want to work as a CNA during that time. Or should I just let it expire and wait the semester until I can be a CNA as an RN student? I'm in CA. Thanks.
