Hi all! I have the option of working at either Seton Medical Center in their ICU which is mainly a Cardiovascular ICU and does heart transplants, ECMO, etc. or at Parkland in their ICU/Trauma internship. I have heard from some nurses I know who work in Dallas that Parkland has a high turnover rate, but I also know they have a really great reputation as a place you can learn a ton. Seton seemed like a really great unit and I would love to learn about all the specialty cardiac patients. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about which one to choose? Thanks for your help!
