@mariebrittney49 I called CSUEB a few weeks ago and gave up my spot on the waitlist because I got into and decided to go to another program! I asked them what spot I was and they told me I was in the second half of the waitlist, so I'm thinking that I probably wouldn't have gotten in anyways. I hope you get in! ?

Guys, I'm so worried... I think I did really badly on my interview because I didn't prepare enough and I got stuck and paused for some time on my first question. I did better in my introduction and on my second question but I'm so mad at myself, and now I really want to get into this program ? I'm trying to tell myself that even if I did amazingly well on my interview, I might not even get in because they're interviewing 100+ people and only accepting 40... sorry just needed to rant a bit, the waiting is killing me Best of luck to everyone!

@belling @isabellala @deelyjoh I am a second degree seeker as well and haven't heard anything back yet... And I didn't get any info about a communication exercise. Are second degree seekers excused from the communication exercise or do we have to do it too? It might also be the case that I was rejected because I only had 9.081 points...

@Remia Wow, they should have told you what went wrong in your first communication exercise, I'm sorry that happened... I hope you get in this time! Something unprofessional happened to me too... I submitted my application and transcripts on time but then I got an email that my application was withdrawn! So I panicked and called them and it turns out that they just hadn't processed my transcripts before the transcript deadline so their automatic computer system withdrew my application! So then I had to talk to a bunch of different people to get them to unwithdraw it and they kept on saying that they couldn't find my transcripts... it was so frustrating

@Xoxonursing Does that mean that the person on the last spot on the waitlist has 67 points? Are #1-80 getting accepted and #81-160 on the waitlist? I had 65 points so I just missed the waitlist...

I applied to CSU Bakersfield's nursing program for this fall 2019 too, and no, I haven't heard anything back yet... Does anyone know when we'll be hearing back?

@eluelaine haha thanks yea that's what I thought at first too, but then I got scared when I saw other people's comments that they got accepted into the university and nursing school decisions come out in April. Maybe I heard back sooner because I'm a second bachelors student who is part of graduate admissions... ?

I got an email today that said "Congratulations! On behalf of Cal State LA, it is my pleasure to offer you Fall Semester 2019 admission to the Nursing program." I thought this meant that I got accepted into the nursing program, but does it mean that I just got accepted to the university?

@milkteas Can I ask you what your stats were if you don't mind? My prereq GPA was 3.92 and my all college coursework cumulative GPA was 3.02. My TEAS score is 90.7%. And I have 400+ hours of hospital internship experience. My cumulative GPA is really low because my bachelor's degree GPA is really low... I'm applying as a second bachelors student.

@pzsnow I called them about a week ago and asked about transcripts and they told me that we only submit official transcripts to SFSU if we get accepted and they ask for them. But we do have to submit official transcripts to NursingCAS and also upload our unofficial transcripts to the CalStateApply application.

I'm applying to this program too! ? Does anyone know how important the instructor evaluations in the Program Materials section of the CalStateApply application are? Are they even required? I'm wondering how much they will look at my instructor evaluations compared to my prereq GPA and TEAS score.

Hi everyone! I applied to the Fall cohort too and received my evaluation recently. Does anyone know if the Temecula campus is a commuter school? Or do students live together somewhere close to campus? Is there student housing? I'm trying to learn more about the school, but I don't know if I'm going to get in or not haha
