  1. I was selected for an interview for Santa Clara. I had 1 clinical rotation at Kaiser, did a paid externship at Kaiser, and was a Delores Jones recipient. BSN, BLS, ACLS, RN license pending as I wait to take the NCLEX, No EKG, graduated with honors. 1 year of NA experience. I am likely turning down my interview due to offers elsewhere, so hopefully this opens up a spot! Goodluck everyone! ?
  2. Received an offer today for Medicine Division 1! ? Goodluck everyone!
  3. According to the FAQ on Kaiser's New Grad Residency Program page: Can I apply without my nursing license? Yes. You must have an active nursing license from the California Board of Registered Nursing upon the date of hire (typically 30 days prior to the start date). Interim permits and out-of-state nursing licenses are not accepted. https://nursescholars.kaiserpermanente.org/community/nurse-residency-program/nurse-residency-program-faq/ I applied without my license and have not received a rejection letter as well.
  4. Not yet I thought we would receive something today
  5. Congrats!!!! Did you get an email?
  6. Hi! If it makes you feel better, I was accepted, but plan on attending elsewhere! So you should definitely have a spot this quarter ?
  7. If you don’t mind, what did the exercise consist of?
  8. Where can I find my admission status on cal state la portal?
  9. Where can I find my admission status on cal state la portal?
  10. Do you remember how many points you had?
  11. Hello everyone! I’m so excited and anxious to hear back! I’m applying with a 3.94 cumulative GPA and 90.0 on my HESI ?
  12. Your impaction score is 7.11. 4.0 + (93.3/30) = 7.11 hope that helps ?
  13. GPA: 3.96 TEAS: 90.0 Impaction score = 6.96 Hoping for the best! Goodluck everyone ?
  14. I’m wondering the same thing! I have a 9.42 and have not received a communications email. I wonder if there is another factor in the ranking that isn’t apparent to us.
  15. There is an option on my portal that asked if I would like to be on the waitlist. I selected yes!
  16. Hey! I noticed you have 9.21 points. Did you receive a communications email?
  17. Mine still says pending as well! I believe we have to wait until May to see if we were accepted from the waitlist. Seems like such a long time from now, but lets remain hopeful :) If you don't mind, how many points do you have?
  18. Hello all! I am also applying to SJSU’s 2019 nursing program. I have a question. If I took three courses equivalent to one of the prerequisites, does anyone know which grade they count? Should I average out the three or simply consider the last grade?
  19. Thank you so much! This definitely helps. Unfortunately, I only have 62 points. With the cutoff being 64 points for the past two cohorts, I’m hoping I will be able to become admitted from the waitlist. Hoping for the best!! ?
  20. Does anyone have any information regarding admissions from the waitlist? Would acceptances roll out over time, or are applicants notified all at once if they become accepted from the waitlist? I noticed many people who were waitlisted from past cohorts were notified around May, but am unsure whether it could have been earlier for others.
  21. Hello! Congrats to everyone for receiving their communications email. On the email, did it happen to state what the cutoff was? I’m at 9.42 points and thought I had a pretty good chance, but did not receive an email.
