  1. That’s awesome!!! I’m so happy to hear you made it in for Fall! I think I am going to email the professor for clinical and just double check about the 19th.
  2. I was curious about this as well. I’m not sure but I think it would be a good thing to check on! I know that for the first couple of months our clinical days will be spent at the college. I just don’t know what we are supposed to do that first day.
  3. Hey! Yes I did join, and I will be at the meeting on the 9th! It seems like a great organization to be a part of, especially when it comes to volunteering, etc.
  4. @Jt131 do you mind my asking which blood pressure cuff you went with? Looking at them now and there are so many out there lol
  5. Haha I filled up my amazon cart right after orientation and bought all the extras too! That folded clipboard is pretty cool lol. I’m thinking you may be right about the pharmacology class, we should know before too long. I am so excited to start! This summer is flying by!
  6. I just finished buying books and uniforms and today started on castle branch. I was confused about how to create an account and then found out that once you order your drug screen, you will have the option to create an account from that point. Working on it right now but hopefully once I’m done everything will make a little more sense lol. Oh, and side note....if y’all need shoes, check out Danskos! I have called everywhere and FINALLY found a shop that carries them out in Miramar beach called Sunset Shoes. Also for the pants, I highly recommend going to Lulus, they were better priced and way better quality in my opinion.
  7. Monday for me!
  8. @Jt131 update!! Lol! Just tried to register and i am registered for all my classes already! Give it a little bit and check again this evening ?
  9. I thought we were allowed to register today but maybe not? I heard someone ask about the time conflict with the pharmacology class and if I heard correctly, that date or time is changed but hasn’t been updated on the site yet. I went and picked up uniforms and books today so that part is done. Now on to tackling the rest! ?
  10. Haha no I understand. Yes the people doing to LPN - RN track were there as well. It may not hurt to call and ask? I’d rather do that so I could begin making plans for either fall or spring. I hate not knowing what’s going on lol
  11. Thank you! I was going thru the sheet given to us at orientation but the twin cities page didn’t have any class info, and when I entered the link to Safcare I couldn’t get a website to come up. Went thru the nwfsc page but there isn’t anything available for the summer. Will try some of these other numbers tomorrow when offices are open. I just wasn’t sure if any of yall knew of other places not listed ?
  12. Have any of you found a place for the CPR certification class yet?
  13. Oh I hadn’t thought about that but I bet you’re right, starting in the spring I think we would be in the same class! I stayed home for 13 years and waited until my youngest started school before deciding it was my turn lol. So I understand that feeling. But don’t let that get to you. From everything I hear, this is a fantastic program with equally fantastic professors who want us to succeed. We just have to go into this with a positive attitude and ready to put in the work. I spoke with a few girls who are in the program now that were at orientation and they were so helpful and definitely put my anxiety at ease. They gave me all kinds of information on books that helped them, YouTube channels they found helpful for different courses etc. Also, they really emphasized the study groups.
  14. I have three of my own so I definitely understand needing to know for childcare purposes! So I didn’t know this until the other day, but the LPN-RN’s start off in Nursing process 2, etc, a semester ahead of the rest.
  15. @Frsms I second what Jenny said!! Oh, and my name is Havilah! And I agree 100% on sticking together throughout this program. It’s going to be work, but will all be worth it! Also if y’all are up for it, I am all for forming a study group once this kicks off!
  16. Omg so funny, I was wanting to find you guys but also didn’t know how to without looking like a creeper lol! I was the one in the green floral pants who kept getting the winning tickets on the baskets ?
  17. Omg yay!!!! We had orientation today! I had you on my mind when I heard emails went out!! So excited for you and congratulations!!!!
  18. @Frsms I heard scores are out!!! I hope you got some good news!!!
  19. @Frsms 110 is a fantastic score!! I hope you get a call for the Fall term, but if not, I think you definitely stand a great chance for the spring term with that score! Good luck and definitely keep us posted!! You’ve got this!!
  20. Like Jt131 said, #1 on the wait list is good! Keeping my fingers crossed as well and keep us posted!
  21. @Frsms I’m so sorry! Do you know yet if you made the alternate list? I’ve heard that applicants still stand a good chance of getting in if so!
  22. Just submitted my RSVP!! So excited to meet you all and congratulations again!! ❤️
  23. Yay!!! Congrats!! I got accepted too!!! ❤️
  24. @Frsms that is a great score! My husband was active duty for 14 years before going reserves so I know how hard it can be to try to do things when you never know where you are going to be from one year to the next. Don’t get too discouraged because you stand a good chance with that score!
  25. Hey guys!! I have been doing my very best to stay busy and not think about it these past few days, but that has proven somewhat difficult to do, haha! But...with that being said, we are almost there!! Good luck everybody, and I hope we all get great news tomorrow!! ❤️
