  1. Congrats to everyone that made it. I did not make it and I’m shocked to say the least. The letter said, “Our decisions are based upon a careful review of all of your submitted application materials including, but not limited to, the rigor of the academic program, individual course completion and performance, and academic trend.” I guess I’m shocked because I got a 4.0 in every program prerequisite, including an overall gpa of 3.93 in the classes that made up my transfer degree, I have over 1000 hours as a CNA/Med Tech, and my academic trend has only gone up compared to when I went to school 10 years ago, as well as being a tutor and TA while at NSC. I guess I’m shocked because I’m not sure what else I could have done, I worked really hard to put together an impressive resume. I still have a decision coming from UW, so maybe there is hope in that.
  2. Not yet, if they’re mailing out decisions today then I’m hoping to hear my tomorrow or maybe Monday.
  3. No that’s what I see as well, and something about “my counselor”
  4. Ok, that’s refreshing. I thought it was an email or that’s what I remember them saying.
  5. Exactly. And I just remembered and looked on Facebook, but my friend who is currently in the SU nursing program found out about getting in on March 26th.
  6. I honestly feel like the “date received” not updating may not be a bad thing (it may not mean anything at all). For all we know it could mean it hasn’t updated because it’s already been added to the accepted group ?
  7. Yeah mine still says 3/12, I’m not sure how to interpret all of this. I just wanna find out!!!
  8. I swear my interviewer said I would hear by 3/17, but I was also very nervous so I could have just misheard lol
  9. Well that makes me feel better. I’ve asked someone else who also applied to SU and who was also accepted to SPU and they haven’t heard anything from SU so I’m thinking that decision emails haven’t gone out yet
  10. Mine says 3/12 as well but I don’t really know what that means lol, apparently just the date received
  11. Congrats on the SPU news! I only applied to SU and UW. Obviously we haven’t heard back from UW but I was curious if you had heard anything from SU or knew when we might hear something, the wait is killing me lol!
  12. Yeah I’d be interested to know if anyone here has gotten one of those emails or if anyone here has received an actual admission or denial email.
  13. I had mine recently and it was about the most comfortable I’ve ever felt in an interview, don’t sweat it!
  14. Oh yeah I’m not expecting you to share the exact questions just what to expect and you did that so thanks!
  15. What kind of questions did they ask if you don’t mind me asking? I have my interview tomorrow!!!
  16. Yeah it’s 20% less and so it’s 20% less from the starting unit of 20 so it’s 20-4=16. I hope I showed enough work, I feel like I did but I’m good at second guessing myself sometimes ?
  17. I went with scenario one myself because it’s the one that immediately struck a chord with me. My brother is an addict so I felt like I could definitely touch on my own personal experience with that and I also felt like it was a little bit of me stepping out of my comfort zone because it can be difficult to talk about family members Who are struggling with addiction. I also didn’t talk much about how I would treat them but more so how it would be difficult and how I could grow from it personally and professionally. So I’m happy that I was able to make it personal and draw on my own real life experiences.
  18. Well I feel better about my math answers now. I got 1.2mg per hour. 200 ml for the hour (based on the same reasoning as you, wasn’t sure how to show my work on that but I did my best) and 16 units of lantus for the 3rd one. I showed my work for all except I didn’t show how I divided 300/250 because I just know it’s 1.2 but I showed the rest on that problem (like how I got all of my numbers) hopefully it’s sufficient
  19. Woooooooo! Glad that’s over! Felt good about the essay but the math questions were a bit harder than I expected. 99% sure I got two out of three right on the math part...not so sure about the 3rd.
  20. Yeah I’m ready to just get it done! I’m sitting here playing around on dosagehelp.com and some parts have me feeling good and other parts of it have me feeling nervous ?. I’ve made it this far and feel pretty good about my ability to perform under pressure so I’m just gonna have to trust myself!
  21. Wow can’t believe I just found this forum! The proctored essay doc was a big help, thanks to whoever posted it! The practice math problems were fairly straightforward and I hope thats about the caliber we see on the math portion. A girl I worked with did the ABSN proctored essay 2 years ago and said the conversions are basic so let’s hope she’s right! Good luck to all of you today and let’s discuss how relieved and also stressed we are after it’s all said and done!
