Yes, keep the hopes up. May I know how many of you on the waitlist have replied the email stating your continued interest in the program? I did ? and finger cross for us.

For those who are accepted from the waitlist pool, do you all plan to attend the program? I guess by 4/9 few spots might be available if some ppl decline.

Although we don't know about our# on the waitlist, I assume the chronologic order when the school sent out the waitlist emails indicate applicants' numerical order on the waitlist if the school didn't send out all waitlist emails automatically. I might be wrong. I received it on Mar 18, 2:53 PM (PST)

Hi @ltr4n, I also just received the email stating I am waitlisted. On the email, it says "We hope to be able to update you regarding your application status within a month. In the meantime, please ensure that all of your pre-requisite coursework has been completed with a grade of ‘C’ or higher". The last of my prerequisite will be finished by March, 25. I don't know if my status will be updated after I completely finish my pre-req. Congrats to whom have been accepted at USF. On the other hand, I got accepted by Case Western Graduate Entry Nursing program today. But I'd like to attend USF if possible to stay local.

Thank you kpoptop for answering my questions. Today's interview took about 45 mins. At the end of the interview, Dr. Jackson gave some advice about if I am admitted to the program; for example, she could connect me with some professors in the field of my research interest. I am informed that decision will arrive within two weeks via email from school, and she will also send me an additional email about the decision. I don't know if these show a good sign about the chance of acceptance.

Hi @Kelz1990, according to previous threads over past years, acceptance comes with a phone call, while rejection will be notified through email. Hi @JFO93, I applied to four nursing schools. I got turned down by JHU, and GW; However, I just had a webcam interview today for CWRU's Graduate Entry. Hopefully, I will hear good news from USFCA and CWRU. Besides nursing, I also applied for one Master of Social Work program and got accepted by the local school in the Bay Area.

Congrats to those who have been accepted. I applied on March 1, and received an email today about having an interview with Dr. Molly Jackson, the Program Director. May I know if anyone has been interviewed by Dr. Molly? It's my first time for the nursing school interview. Could anyone share some tips about what I shall prepare? Your input is much appreciated:)

USF MSN-CNL (Non-Nurses) - Summer 2019
Almost week 8, I feel like the discussion about the 2019 summer cohort is extremely quiet, probably because we haven't heard back from school yet. I've been checking on this forum and the application page on daily basis. According to previous posts from 2016-2018, the first round rejection might be sent out already in week 6, the second round would be before the acceptance going out, and third round appears around late March - early April. In this case, no news 50% means good news. In my email to school last week, it says that students will receive an update 10 weeks after the deadline. I even saved the school number to my phone contact, in case I could easily identify the thrilling call for acceptance if it happens in 2-3 weeks. Therefore, let's count down together and share the psychological burden. Cheers!
