I know! They had extra points for some other classes that I took specifically at Broward so I can enter with as many points as possible since I couldn't do the critical thinking class either. I mean all the classes were needed for bachelors so its not a complete waste but its just a bit upsetting that we can be tying in points with someone who has a 3.0. The reading during the Hesi brought my accum. down to a 86% because one of the reading sections i got a 69%. I was so burnt out by the time I did reading last . I got a 82% over all for reading but I am hoping to retake it to bring it up even if its to a 89% that will at least get me close to 26 points. Question Niki are you a degree seeking student? I spoke to one of the nursing deans and since I am enrolled in Broward I need to switch to non degree seeking there and apply to PBSC as degree seeking but I am suppose to finish my last 4 classes in the summer at broward to get my AA and graduate in Dec. I was hoping to apply in may for August because I will be done then with all my classes and just will go back to Broward for graduation in December but they are saying I can't do that , and if I switch to non degree seeking then none of my classes will be covered by financial aid? I only have 4 classes left which is under 25% so I can't finish at PBSC for my AA without taking more classes because you need to have 25% of your classes completed at the college you graduate from. Did they tell you the same thing since your coming from FAU?

Hi! I have been waiting for someone to start a thread! I am definitely panicking! I have every pre req class needed ( except the critical thinking nursing since Broward does not offer that ) I have a 4.0 GPA and yet I only have 25.5 points! I can't believe they redid the point system and took away classes they required before like nutrition and human growth which I specifically took to boost my points up and now are no longer considered. I passed my Hesi the first time, but I saved reading for last and burnt out lowering my over all . I got a 94 in AP, 88 in Math, 84 in Chem, 82 in Bio etc but reading gave me exactly a 80 so I dropped down to a 86% overall. I am hoping to retake reading in a few weeks to try and boost up my points!
