    UW Transfer BSN 2019

@ackermc3 I would assume UW general admission will let you know by May/June just like all other applicants, regardless of whether you were waitlisted for the SoN, and I don’t believe that your acceptance to the program will help/hinder that!

@UDub1861 and @Duckygirl8203 thanks for getting back to me! I’ve heard the same, that it’s very unlikely that we won’t get into the UW main campus. My nerves are telling me I forgot something major on my application haha. @berserk_angel oh, that’s awesome! Thanks for letting us know

    UW Transfer BSN 2019

@UDub1861 hopefully we’ll only have to pay one... UW’s fee is $310, and I’m sure the SoN’s is about the same if not more. Yikes Also, @Anjee.b, I haven’t applied to any other BSN programs either. They’re either too far or too expensive... if you’re not opposed to going the ADN —> RN to BSN route, definitely apply to community college programs in your area. I’ll be applying to Bellevue college and LW tech

    UW Transfer BSN 2019

@UDub1861 nope, you don’t have to submit them till they ask you for it later I remember having this same question and asking them, and they told me to not worry about submitting anything from winter quarter on until required to do so ^_^ hope that helps! And I’m pretty sure you can take classes in the summer; you just have to have everything done by fall, before the program starts.

I’m so so sorry to hear about your brother. But I am glad that you were able to tie this in with your essay. It’s so important to be able to find compassion and have empathy as a nurse. I’m proud of you for being able to talk about it on paper and on this platform

    UW Transfer BSN 2019

Yay! I’m glad I got all the math the same as y’all. I picked scenario 1, as I’m the least familiar with care in regards to teenagers as well as substance abuse. I don’t think they were looking for how we would treat the patient, more just how we would grow as nurses and people by caring for the patient.

I think I read on a thread from a few years ago that it’s rare that they would immediately accept a candidate

    UW Transfer BSN 2019

Hi everyone, This is my first time posting here, but I’ve been reading a ton of stuff from the 2014, 2015, and 2016 BSN threads. It’s my first time applying to the UW SoN, and I got invited to the proctored essay. Does anyone have any recommendations for what to write about on the essay? I have some strengths and weaknesses listed that I’m going to memorize, but I’m nervous about how I’m going to tie it all together.
