  1. I've read through the pages of info in this thread. Can anyone offer advice, we moved to the USA from the UK 9 years ago. We are USA citzens now, my daughter returned to the UK for a 3 year nursing degree, halfway through her first year. Shes thought she just needed to take the NCLEX once she graduates to transfer her nursing degree to the USA. I am ready its not just that simple. Its necessary to have hour in Paed, mental health etc., and it seems reading this thread, many of you were short when applying. I am also concerned she needs 2 years practicing as a RN before you can apply. Does anyone in the UK have experience of applying to the USA straight from graduating? I found the KIngs College, that look like they offer courses to make up the hours. Any experience would be great. We are located in NY and will not have the visa SSN number hurdles other International applicants have.
