  1. If you do an ACNP degree, does that allow you to switch into an FNP role later in life? or are you stuck in a specialty once your choose?
  2. I am interested in this program, what was everyones background before this program? what did you have to complete to apply? Im looking into direct entry programs as well as ABSN programs in MA
  3. Hi all! I needed some help figuring out my path. I have a B.A in Music with a 3.0 gpa, and am currently completing my prerequisites. So far my gpa is around a 3.7. Im looning into absn programs at the moment, but have hit a small road block. 2 of the 3 schools I want to apply to do not require chemistry with a lab, but the third does. I took only a 3 credit course of chemistry meaning I took no lab portion because the school I WAS going to go to did not require it. So, here is my question; to retake chem, or drop the third school? For context of time, I have microbiology left to take in fall 2019, and will be applying to the dec 2019 deadlines. I am specifically worried because my first Bachelors degree is only a 3.0, so im trying my best to keep a high gpa with prerequisites. Has anyone gone through this before with similar GPAs? did you get into the schools you wanted? did your lower first GPA hinder your acceptance rates? Any help is greatly appreciated! For reference, Im in MA and looking at UMASS Amherst and Boston as well as Salem State's ABSN programs.
